I bought some e-liquid from Apollo which have been very tasty other then the Cappuccino flavor. Granted the later was on clearance so that could be the cause.
The Cappuccino taste like burnt espresso with some cream and a tiny amount of sugar to hide the burnt taste, or a burnt coil taste even when new and full.

Rather then throwing it out, I was wondering if the is a flavor I could mix with it to improve the yucky flavor. I tried a RY4 also from Apollo, but that really didn't help much. Maybe a sweet cinnamon?

Any idea would be welcomed by me as I'm on my 7th day of vaping and zero analogs, yea. :toast:

I've been "working my way" through a bunch of juices that I bought and don't like much - by mixing them together.
LOL - not at random, but when it seems it might improve things - and it has been working.
I'll mix some too-strong-for-me tobacco with some not-bad-not-great-really-cheap-RY4 and maybe some just-not-what-I-hoped vanilla. And voila - nothing I'd call an ADV, but better than any of them on their own.
I'm probably going to end up with at least 60 mls of this "kitchen sink" juice by the time I've cleared all the little bottles that otherwise were just sitting there.

Chocolate might be the ticket. I tried a chocolate flavor even thought I first thought it would be gross, but it's in my top 10 flavors. Maybe a dark chocolate with a splash of caramel flavoring? I have yet to try any caramel or dark chocolate for that matter, but I'm thinking the bitter of the dark will blend with the burnt and help it become useable.

Thanks everyone.
I know it's going to be a gamble for every flavor I try and I will run into some bad ones. Cappuccino isn't a flavor I normally even consider buying, but it was on sale plus gave me a chance to try 24mgs of nic instead of the 18 I started with. I'll stay with 18mgs or lower.

Reconstruction / Reconstitution Method

Let's assume you have 15ml of some crappy eliquid...

Step 1) take your fowl eliquid and dump it all into a glass container of some sort (shot glass works well)

Step 2) add VG to it, this usually mellows out any taste. If it gets too thick, add some PG

Step 3) choose a complementary flavor to add (either a premixed eliquid or flavor drops such as capellas). For coffee, you can add a different coffee flavor. Some other flavors that work well are apple pie, chocolate, peanut butter... and many more, but everyone's tastes are different so just choose one that you think will go well together. Add the flavors and mix.

Step 4) vape it and enjoy!

Step 5-8) if not enjoyable, curse loudly (into a pillow so you don't disturb your neighbors). Then throw the gawd-awful concoction away (do not subject others to your failed experiment. This is karma and the universe will thank you). Do your dishes. Put that flavor on your blacklist (i.e. the list where you swear to high heaven that you will never ever ever buy that flavor again. Not ever. Meaning never).

PS this method is for flavors that taste bad, and not ones that actually went bad. I've had some eliquids that were legitimately foul (not fowl like I posted before) and no amount of reconstitution would work on it. These you just have to chalk up to bad quality control and get your money back if possible. I generally don't waste time to contact a company... they just go on my blacklist.

Congrat, Fubar, on the smoke-free week!

At the risk of sounding sarcastic, my first thought was "to improve a cappuccino flavor...throw it out and head to Starbucks." Good coffee vapes are tough to find! (Okay, I know I'm not being at all helpful!)

Thanks DocTony! I had no idea Starbucks had a good cappuccino flavored vape now. Do I have to order it from the barista or is it something they stock on the shelves?

;)
