i have pure vg and a 10ml concentrate, whats an ideal amount to dilute it with?

ex.
A. say if i need to dilute 10ml with 90 ml of vg or pg to make 100ml of a particular flavor

then i use this as my "flavor" and add it to my diy mixes? say 10%, so if i make a 50ml mix i add 5ml from this 100ml ? or is my idea "wrong"

B. Or should i jus take 1ml, add 3mg (my usual nic level) and add the rest vg(i dont use pg)

It depends on what your concentrate is and your own taste buds. If, for example, I was mixing Inawera Vanilla for Pipe as a single flavor, I'd mix it at 3%. Others might use less and others more, depending on individual tastes.

I'd recommend typing the name of your flavor in the search field at the top right of the page and see what that brings up. You'd need to sort through the hits for the same manufacturer to get some ideas of what percents others are using.

Also, post what you have here and I'm sure somebody will give you some helpful suggestions.

I'm not entirely sure if a diluted concentrate would work very well as a flavouring. If you diluted 10ml of concentrate with 90ml of VG and then used that as a flavouring the result would have a very weak flavour, very weak !. Ordinarily flavouring is between 15% to 25% or maybe a bit more. You're talking about a tenth of the usual amount of flavouring, if i'm understanding you correctly. You suggested 10% of an e liquid of your diluted flavouring. That's 0.1ml of regular flavouring for every 10ml of e liquid. Or 0.5ml of regular flavouring for your 50ml of e liquid.

Does that sound strong enough for you ?. 0.1ml flavouring for every 10ml of e liquid instead of 1 and a half to 2 mil.

Either you're using some super concentrated flavouring to the power of one, or, you're diluting a regular flavouring to the point of having barely any flavour at all !.

That's if i'm understanding you correctly.

1.5 ml to 2.5ml of "undiluted" flavouring for every 10ml of e liquid. That's the basic ratio. Give or take half a mil or so.

Your idea is a tenth of that.

Yes, 1.5 mil = 15% if the entire volume of e liquid is 10ml.

Things can get quite complicated if you listen to what other people do. And some recommended recipes can include quite a lot of mixed flavourings. So you have to consider what the flavouring is doing to the thickness of the liquid you're making. So really if you're using an aqueous nicotine VG (with water) then too much flavouring could make your liquid too thin. You could use undiluted nicotine VG to start with and add 10% nicotine PG to thin it (To maintain to nicotine level). You could also dilute your neat cutting VG with 10% flavouring instead of 10% water. So when you mix these 2 liquids together you could still add the percentage of flavouring to finish. Then you'll have a nice viscosity with plenty of flavour. It all depends how thick you need your liquid to be though.
