I think what they're pretty much all saying, @david quan, is that how many puffs you take is whatever works for you. Most experienced vapers don't even count the number of puffs. When you're satisfied, you quit. It's as simple as that.

Yeah, in all honesty I just puff until I'm satisfied....

14. Any less isn't satisfying and any more is too much. This is the rule. It is not to be broken. All those battery explosions you hear about? They happened on the 15th puff.
hahahaha! Love it!

I don't vape like I smoked. I don't do it in one sitting. I take a puff when I want one. Maybe a few in a row, maybe not. It's not like a cigarette, where you would normally smoke the whole thing.

That's one of the things I missed about the old-fashioned stinkies. They had a built-in timer. You go outside, you smoke it until it's gone, and then you're done. With vaping, you don't have that automatic timer. There's nothing that tells you when it's time to quit. I'd find myself standing or sitting outside for ten, twenty, sometimes thirty minutes if the weather was nice, without even realizing it. Then one day I asked my rental agency if it was okay to vape inside. Problem solved! They basically said "well, we don't have any rules on it one way or the other, so I don't see any reason why not *(we reserve the right to change our mind at any time.)" So now I pretty much just vape all day, as much as I want, and when I want. I don't have to limit it to "sessions" that are separate from one another. I can just pick up my device, take a puff or two or ten, until I need both hands for something, then I put it down again. So I guess my answer to your question, how many puffs do I take in a sitting, is "all of them."

This would be for one setting and not the full day.

Like when I was a smoker how many cigarettes I smoked depended on what kind of day I was having, how much sleep, or even just my mood at the moment. I keep hearing how I used to smoke them down to the filter! Now with vaping and using a MOD I cut my nicotine in half because more vapor so I do find myself at times when I have .6% chain vaping. I have never counted how many "puffs" but the best thing is I can have 1 and out it down without it burning down to nothing.

You will know you vaped too much or to high a nicotine level when you get a headache or upset stomach............. :2c::2c:
