How long will 50 mL last me?

Sorry if this question is asked too much.
I've decided I want to start vaping (I've never smoked anything in my life, please don't tell me not to, it's my decision) and I figure I won't be drawing as much as a regular smoker would.

I'm buying a 50 mL bottle and a pen with a 1.6 mL tank. About how long will that last me if I take about 30 puffs or less a day? (light puffs, not super heavy).

You'll get about 30 tanks out of that bottle, so once you get started it'll be easy to figure. I'd say 2-3 months, at a guess.

It also depends whether you take shorter or longer draws out of each puff.

When I first started, I was quitting smoking, so I didn't take many drags each time (3-4 every 1/2 - 1 hours). I could make a 15 ml bottle last about a month. So, I'd agree with man00ver. Maybe even more.
Instead of buying 50 mls, I'd recommend buying a smaller bottle to see if you even like that flavor long term. As your tastebuds get used to a flavor, 1 of 2 things tends to happen. Either it starts to taste weak or tastes bad after a while. Not to mention that juice does go bad, and shouldn't be kept after about 6 months. So if you decide to try a new flavor, whatever is left from that 50ml bottle may go bad before you go back to it.

As you start vaping more, or taking longer drags, 50mls will go by faster, but to start, it is more than you'll probably need. Like I said, I started because I was quitting cigs, and I made 15mls last a long time. But now 50mls would only last me about 2 weeks, max.

As @Zabolee said, start with smaller bottle to narrow down what you like so you don't waste it. When looking for new flavor a I buy 2-3 15mls to make sure I don't just like the flavors in the store on 0MG (which happens a lot) or if I could ADV it at my desired nic.
Now that I know what I like I can go through 50ml in about a week-week and a half.

That's a good point, too. Most stores I've seen offer a taste at 0mg. Some offer any sample if you bring your own dripper, but they are few and far between (at least around me). And nicotine does change the taste of liquid. But I'm assuming you'll be using 0mg, since you aren't quitting smoking. No reason to start using nicotine now.

I did the math for how much I use in a dripper. There are approximately 20 drops liquid/ml. I drip 10 drops in an RDA and get about 5-6 good hits off of it. So I am using approximately 0.5ml/session. If I were t take 30 hits a day, that would be 2.5-3ml of juice. So, for that kind of vaping, a 50 ml bottle would last 20 days or so.

But dripping uses about 2-3 times more juice than a normal tank, which, in turn, uses more than a pen. That's where we come up with 50ml lasting for months and months. So, using the same math, a 15ml bottle would last about 5 days in my dripper, and about 30 days with the style you're thinking about.

depends how much you vape. if the flavor is really good it can easily last you maybe a week at the least versus a flavor you say is meh.. that can last you months. i am pretty new myself about a month into vaping i collected about 12 different juices all 30ML from those 12 juices i only went through 1. well that 1 i went through was actually 15ML the rest is 30ML. quite a few of the juices i have are half full while the newer ones/old ones i dislike or have too strong of a throat hit ( 3 of them because my nic content is too high on those ones ) are practically full.

so it really depends i only found a handful of juices that i consider i love and will vape them like nothing where the others i consider MEH.. and can stretch them. they seem to last longer in tanks versus RDA"s imo. i just switched from my aspire triton tank to a mutation xs RDA and find myself using a lot more juice but also am getting way better flavor/vapor production i would say throat hit seems about the same imo maybe a little less harsh on the rda then the tanks.

if your worried simply buy in bulk. bulk typically is cheaper but not always some stores like i believe fuzion vapor do not sell 120ml bottles instead they sell 30ml bottles thus the price is a bottle X 4. other then that just start and you will eventually figure it out. I asked the same question when i started i wouldn't say it's much of a concern versus going through coils/cotton.

One of those tanks can last me 4-6 hours... I'm guessing the juice will go bad before you run out

Depends on how much you vape, mod settings, how often you alternate juices, etc. For some, 50ml will last a week, for others it'll last over a month. Personally, a 30ml bottle can last me up to 3 weeks.

It depends on so much...
When I was dual-using my egos/evods with analogs I'd use about 3ml pr day
Now, vaping only, I'm at about 12 ml pr day, combining sub-ohm tanks with my Aeros. (and I did aquire a bad habbit of chainvaping too)

There are alot of factors such as what ohms the topper is, what wattage/voltage, draw technique i can rin through a 60ml nottle in a trifecta/triforce tank in 2 days easy but in my arctic tank may mast me a week
