What do you have the USB charger cable hooked to? If you have it on an unpowered hub, then I think 1 USB port's 500mA of power gets divided between the devices drawing power on that hub. If you have it on its own USB port right on the PC or on it s own AC to USB designed for the batteries (typically puts out 500mA), not a random one you have around the house from a cell phone or other device, then it shouldn't take excessively long to charge. I have never measured the amount of time myself but I think about 1 to 1.5 hours.

If you are a heavy vaper than you may be able to vape down a 510 standard battery faster than one can charge. In that case your choices are...
1. Buy 510 mega xl batteries which last 60% longer
2. But a 3rd standard 510 battery and another USB charger and always have 2 charging. That way each will have more time to charge before you need it.
3. Vape 2 ecigs - then you will split the use between them and your batteries will have 2x as long to charge.
4. Buy an Ego or Riva 510

When I used a 510 it took about 2 hours to go from fully drained to fully charged. This caused a problem because it only took about 1 1/2 hours to drain one. I ended up having to get a third battery and used my PCC to take up the slack. I got tired of that so I got an eGo. Problem solved.

In my opinion, and through experience, 510's are good for those who smoked very lightly. If you smoke more than 1/2 pack a day you'll get frustrated with the short battery life and being chained to your charger.
