How about snoring? Anyone quit snoring once they started vaping?

I was a heavy smoker for years, like pushing 35, it's a wonder I'm even still alive! My wife of 20 years use to nudge me a couple times a night (every night) to roll over and would never let me lay on my back, said I would for sure to snore then. LOL She found this to be a bigger problem than I did. Anyway after my very first day of vaping she said I did not snore at all that night! I have now been vaping for 5 months I wanna say and I guess I cured my wifes problem with me snoring. :D

And she even lets me sleep on my back now! :D

I don't know...I'm asleep and my wife has been sleeping with earplugs for many years.

You should have her lose the ear plugs and see what she thinks.

That's more of a medical question which we stay away from. Since you can't see someones DR's license on here. LOL I can't imagine vaping fixing that. Most in this household are hard at hearing so not a big issue here.

Well OK we can say vaping is better for us though huh?

My wife says I quite snoring, so it must be true!

See?

My best best would be that you had COPD or Sleep apnea from the smoking, and since you quit, those side effects had subsided
I just hope it keeps subsiding. Or she does I guess. LOL

Absolutely a great blessing for our marriage!!! She seems to do it more now tho, lol. I go to sleep better, sleep more soundly, and am Quiet upon waking. Like the OP, I was 30+ yrs smoking and mornings were all about coughing and hacking. Well, the whole day was all about coughing really.

If I cough or clear my throat now, it's quite unusual.

    Hi Ray in KC,

Nice tread and doesn't need to be precisely medical related exactly. However, my ENT specialist says the mucous membranes return to normal when quitting smoking so there may be something in it.

I used to hear a lot of complaints about my snoring and don't anymore, even sleeping in front of the TV in the lounge with everyone around me.:D

How'd you find those cool big icons, first time I've seen them here?
