I'm guessing this Wilton Glycerin is bad stuff.
It's the only stuff I could find local that seemed like it would be ok to use since it's used in cake frosting. It leaves a very long lasting greasy taste in your mouth.
I did not mix it 50/50 with my PG. I am feeling defeated here.
I dont like this krispy kreme aftertaste at all. It makes me worried about what it could be doing to my lungs. Walmart had some Glycerin- Not USP, and it has warnings about internal use.
Pharms have lists of Glycerin they can order, but none of them are labeled Vegetable.
I'm Just posting this for thoughts, maybe I'm not alone in experiencing this.
I found some LorAnn oils at local medical supply place called Regans- I've seen that stuff mentioned here, so i was kind of shocked to see it in a place like that. It has a warning against exposure to mucous membranes or something like that. My dad has had polyps removed from his nasal cavity- and they keep coming back, very painful to treat. so I take warnings like that pretty serious.
If the commercial versions of these carts are only using PG, why wont it work. I've tried different drop counts with just PG and it's not the same at all. Sorry for the rant. I want to solve my issue and refill my own carts. This way I'll always have a cart waiting vs buying online and going without for extended periods of time, plus it cheaper!
