help: vaporesso target / hot & harsh vape

got a vaporesso target pro/tank and iv had some difficulty.

I setup the tank with a 0.6 coil and soaked it in some juice for 10 mins or so, tried the lowest setting in temp mode and got a harsh huge plume of vapor initially then switched to a low wattage and crept up - now i'm getting very little vapor even at higher wattage

the hit is slightly metallicy with a harsh throat hit & low vapor on wattage mode, tastes like grape shisha out of a tin can

the particulars:
0.6 ccell coil target tank
50vg/50pg juice @ 5mg (grape)

Hi and Welcome- sounds like you burnt the coil and you will never fix that taste! Try using a different coil and make sure you prime the coil by putting drops of eliquid onto the coil holes on the coil housing and a few drops along the inside top of coil onto that cotton, really let the coil sit in a tank of liquid for at least 20 minutes,and draw on the drip tip with the mod turned off to get liquid into the coil. Start ramping up the watts slowly from 10w up to 25w or back down if it starts tasting funny.
Make sure you always have spare coils, you should always have a 5 pack or 2 and I usually install coils before bed so the new coil can soak overnite!

Welcome and glad you joined. Some tanks can be hard to figure. Could try a dripper with the same coil setting and see if it's the juice,tank or battery whatever (taking the tank out of the equation).

Haha I did both!

For anyone having similar issues I found the target tank coils with hexagonal / honeycomb holes bloody useless/unusable, the ones with circular cotton packed holes were very effective
