Help Needed - Gamucci Micro

Hi there, my name is Tom and I live in the U.K, this is my first post (I tried to post to the newbies thread but it is closed).

I've just recently bought a Gamucci Micro e-cig and I'm having serious problems, I just can't seem to get the thing working. This is the process that I've gone through from unpacking to writing this post.

1) Bought the Gamucci which consists of 2 batteries, an atomizer, a charger and 5 cartridges.

2) Assembled the e-cig (screwed the atomizer into the battery, removed empty plastic cover from atomizer, attached new cartridge) and took my first drag.

3) The LED on the e-cig flashed 20 or so times which according to the manual means it needs charging so plugged in the charger and the LED light cam on green, screwed in the battery and the LED turned red.

4) Waited for the LED to turn green again which took approx 3-4 hours (is this normal for an initial charge?).

5) Unscrewed the battery from the charger and re-assembled the e-cig and took a drag................nothing, the light on the battery didn't 'ignite', the atomizer didn't heat up and all I was left with was a sickly sweet taste in my mouth.

6) I decided to try the other battery so I screwed it into the charger, the LED on the charger stayed green this time so I thought well at least one of the batteries is charged.

7) I assembled the e-cig with this other battery and I'm getting the same results as before, not a wisp of vapour or heat from the atomizer.

8) Written this message in the hope that you lovely people can offer some assistance.

Just to add this is the second Gamucci I've had in a week and the first one performed exactly the same and I mean EXACTLY.

Can somebody please tell me if I'm doing anything wrong? What could be the issue? The batteries (both!!?)? The atomizer? The Charger? Me!!?

I just find it strange that both products don't seem to work, it may be a bad batch if there is such a thing. Should I cut my losses, get a refund and purchase something that's proved more reliable?

Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Tom,

I am still very new here too. I bought a Gamucci and did not have the problems you have. That said, I wished I had found this forum before I bought it! The amount of vapour that it produced has been getting less and less and I understand that the atomiser is the problem as they do go in time. If you can get a refund, then I would certainly do so. I have gone over to a Titan 510 which I got this morning from Totally Wicked (I have to say the service was excellent). I have got some extra liquid to recharge the cartridges (the Gamucci get very expensive) and from this morning so far, I am very happy! It does come come with manual batteries, which takes a bit of getting used to, but everyone here seems to swear by them.

If you browse the various forums, you will find a bewildering array of suggestions but I narrowed it down to the 510 or the DSE901, both available from TW. In the end it comes down to what you are happy with, but it seems to me that you need to acquire two or three of these things (it don't come cheap!).

welcome to the forum.
this isnt what you want to hear im sure, but just bin the gamucci and buy something better. This forum is a mine of useful info but it does get a little confusing as to model numbers of each cig and what is best etc etc
there a forum member on here called igetcha69, he also has a website where he reviews different ecigs and theres also discount codes for various companies, he reviewed the gamucci and said its the worst e cig hes used, heres the link The Gamucci Micro electronic cigarette
i wouldnt bother wasting your time with it, its never going to give you the satisfaction analog cigs did and the danger will be you'l go back to the old cancer sticks. Buy yourself some decent kit, watch all the reviews on scotts site.
My first egigs were a mirage super mini and a evo, both are good but they have an auto cut off on the battery which is annoying, ive just bought a titan 510 which has a manual battery and its superb, battery life isnt the best but i can live with that for the fact it gives great vapour and looks the part.
good luck and stick in with it, you'l reap the benefits and even though e smoking has a steap learning curve to begin, it gets easier.

Thanks for the advice guys, my refund came through today so I've just ordered myself a Titan510. I also got myself a few extra bits like spare atomizer/battery, travel charger, e-liquid etc as it worked out a lot cheaper than what a paid for the Gamucci.

Congrats on your 510 purchase. I haven't ever heard anything good about Gamucci.

Just received my 510 in the post this morning, must say I'm very impressed so far. I've fully charged everything and have been happily vaping away, I may have overdone it slightly as I'm starting to feel it a bit in my throat .

It will take some getting used to by I'm overjoyed that I can finally give up the normal cigarettes.
