HellVape is above all known for its production of rta and rda for lung vaping, now it also launches in the MTL sector and does so with an Rta: the MD Mtl, an ultra-adjustable 24mm diameter atomizer that offers 4 different configurations of the under diffuser and 6 air regulation options through the classic ring. But let's see how it goes and how it's done, good reading.

The color options are currently 6

Two different drip tips are provided, one for the vaping in closed mtl, the other more open, both with two sealing rings, note the reduction at the base of the tip that is used to keep the sliding top / cap closed.

To open the top / cap it is therefore necessary to lift the tip. The buttonhole for the refill is of the right size and is placed in a lowered position compared to the top / cap sliding surface, an excellent solution for not greasing with liquid.

The central body which includes the bell and the chimney has the MD logo, the inside of the bell has an internal diameter of 15mm, a depth of 13mm and a 4mm chimney hole near the tip, no imperfection of workmanship is visible.

The bottom of the atom has a slightly protruding gold-plated pin.

The air ring is end-of-stroke, its rotation is well braked and precise, each hole corresponds to a number from one to six, the first hole is 0.8 mm, the largest hole is instead a small hole 2x4mm

Before regenerating the MD it is necessary to ask a question about what we want to achieve, having 2 MDs I opted to assemble one for pure mtl, with the 1.2 coil, the narrow tip and the 2ml tank, the other I set for a more open mtl with 4ml tank, 0.7 and broad coil.

But the adjustments are not finished here, once we have the deck at hand we can see that there are ample adjustments also for the under hole hole.

    14.jpg

Each of the two disks has two types of air-flow: one honeycomb and the other in the form of a slot; we can see the one with the gold-colored deck with the wide slot and the other with the narrow slot installed, to pass from the speaker to the honeycomb slot it is sufficient to rotate the disc clockwise using a screwdriver, or replace disc A with disc B having a slotted diffuser and different honeycomb diffuser.

The turrets are surmounted by slotted screws, they are drilled for the insertion of the legs of the coil, making both the build and the cutting of the legs very simple once the screws are tightened.

The buttonholes for the cotton are generous in size and contain a lot of them! On the side you can see the feeding window with the cotton on the back.

    Conclusions
When I started handling this MD I immediately realized that it was a good product, no o'ring, no oil smell, precise threads, no imperfection! I have not seen even during the zoomed photos! Some details such as the refill on a low floor, the simplicity of regeneration and the perfect coupling of details such as undercut discs or the air ring, made me think that its yield would also be very good. On my two MDs I used two sets of poles apart, but with the same liquid, just to see the different behavior with these two different builds: the first (SS) I use it with a 2ml tank, narrow tip, 1.2 to 11W coil with Disc A under-thread with a narrow 3.2x1mm slot and an open ring nut on the smaller hole, the 0.8 hole. The other (Blue / Gold) I'm using it with Tip largo, 4ml tank, 0.7 coil, 4x2mm undercut disc B, open ring on the large 2x4mm slot or on the 1.8mm hole.

    Guess how they go ...
I already knew that at 18w with the 0.7, the wide tip and the quite airy airflow both in the ring and in the undercoil I would have found myself well because it's the downside my favorite setting in mtl; but here guys the fog has fallen since I started using it and it tasted of licorice that seemed almost to drink it!

With the narrow configuration at 11Watt before starting to vape I was already thinking that I would have dismantled everything, that I would have put the 4ml tank there too and that I would have done another 0.7 and maybe I would have tried the honeycomb design of the disc B ...
After 4 pitches I said to myself (I don't believe it) I'm vaping at 11watt with a very tight shot and licorice is better than before! I try again, I don't believe it, I aspire to hold the vapor in my mouth, slowly releasing it from my nose and I say: yes, then it's true! I also keep this so with the 2ml tank ^

Alternating the 2MD after a full day I noticed a very slight condensation under the tip of the one configured "tight", nothing of it, just a minimal thing, on the other configured "open" zero! Leaks and condensation do not belong to the MD.

These two MD RTA atomizers that Hellvape kindly sent me for an honest review: Hellvape - The DIY atomizer leading brand will continue to be used by me with pleasure, I will not fail (if anyone is interested) to post any defects that for now they have not appeared, or to update you on my impressions as I make changes to the setting or test other flavors.
