Imagine the scene: a Hellvape representative who, with a mischievous smile, announces the arrival of the Dead Rabbit 3 Special Edition 2024, and you almost faint from joy. Every day, like a modern-day Sisyphus, you update the tracking in the hope that the package will make a magical leap from China to your backyard. And then, one day, there it was, abandoned among the tomato and onion plants, like a hidden treasure. You jump up the stairs four at a time, with the excitement of a child on Christmas morning, and finally, in your trembling hands, you hold the two gems: one as blue as the sea of Capri, the other as bright as the steel of Excalibur. And as you explore the supply of spare parts, which almost seems like a pirate's loot, you ask yourself: "But will these vaporizers need a dual battery Mod worthy of a king or queen?" And so, with the enthusiasm of an archaeologist who discovers a new find, you start looking for the differences between this limited edition and the classic model. But be careful, let's not reveal too much, the adventure continues... and the reading too! Thanks to you, dear vaper, for this journey into the world of vapor!

The Dead Rabbit RTA has reached its third version with the aim of providing the end user with an ever better product. In the previous versions of Dead Rabbit RTA we can talk about refinements and small improvements between the first RTA V1 and the second RTA V2, in the RTA V3 we find a postless deck and a turn of the air from top to bottom completely redesigned in search of flavor Perfect. Dead Rabbit 3 RTA 2024 Edition maintains the winning postless deck configuration. The new edition has a diameter of 27mm, which offers a wider deck to facilitate the installation of the coils.

Continuing with the design differences, in the image below you can see the design of the bells; V1 RTA only had two rather large slots to direct the flow towards the coils but in a limited way, in V2 RTA a honeycomb system was introduced inside the bell composed of two opposing rows each with 18 holes which were in able to better envelop the resistors with the air flow. V3 RTA and V3 RTA Edition 2024 do not have any holes inside the bell and this completely distorts the flow of the air through two bulkheads that compress and channel the flow from top to bottom and then make it rise right under the coils. The air flow rises towards the coils and is amplified by the 4 holes and three slots on the postless deck, furthermore to better embrace the coils laterally we rely on the two raised bulkheads with honeycomb holes that you can see in the previous image.

► Hellvape Dead Rabbit 3 RTA 2024 Edition; New Air Flow:
In the image below, you can see the difference between the airflow adjustment system of the original Dead Rabbit RTA and the Dead Rabbit 3 RTA 2024 Edition. The first had two opposing rows each with 7 diagonal slots, the new version has a Honeycomb type flow regulation system with two opposing rows of 8 holes each, for a total of 32 holes, this increases the flow of air towards the coils. According to Hellvape technicians, the distribution of the air flow around the coils is not only maximized, but is more uniform and regular, and for this reason better performance is achieved in terms of airiness and flavor.

The Dead Rabbit 3 RTA 2024 Edition ring is equipped with rotation stops, appears precise and well braked during adjustment, as I already said it allows a large air passage for deep DL aspirations, but also offers good flow restriction for satisfying RDL vaping sessions.

► Hellvape Dead Rabbit 3 RTA 2024 Edition; Exploded View:
This new vaporizer can be completely dismantled for cleaning operations and consists of; Replaceable 810 Drip Tip, a 1/4 turn quick opening top cap, an AFC ring with honeycomb design, a one-piece structure (bell), a straight glass tube replaceable with the bubble tank in supplied and a postless Deck with adjustable 510 pin. Compared with Dead Rabbit 3 RTA Regular Edition, the straight glass tube which is pioneering colored with new optical plating technology, more aesthetic and elegant, have been updated. The classic delrin Drip Tip is present in the package, but now we also find a new tip in colored resin.

In this image you can see the main structure of V3 RTA 2024 Edition; the two e-liquid refill slots have been kept large for added convenience. On the central structure there are new updated decorations which always include the dead rabbit, but on the one hand it is nicely located inside the 2024 writing.

In this image you can see the postless deck of V3 RTA 2024 Edition; there are convenient side screws for fixing the coils, the raised walls with a honeycomb design for good air flow around the coils, finally the lower part of the deck is completely decorated around the adjustable and gold-plated 510 pin gold.

► Hellvape Dead Rabbit 3 RTA 2024 Edition; Builds:
After rotating the RTA and taking out the deck, you need to take; a wire cutter, the flat screwdriver, the coil tool, the two 0.37Ω Ni80 Clapton Coil resistors and get ready for the build operations.

After cutting the legs of the coils to a length of 5mm and inserting them into the appropriate holes on the postless-deck, you have to do this; tighten the screws, straighten the coils, activate the coils to remove any hot-spots, then you can prepare to insert the cotton laces present in the package.

After installing the coils and inserting the cotton whiskers into the coils with their ends in the slots, you need to do this; moisten the cotton with the liquid, reposition the deck, open the top cap with a quarter turn, fill the tank with the liquid, reposition the top cap, adjust the AFC ring according to your preferences. Then you can start having fun creating clouds.

► Hellvape Dead Rabbit 3 RTA 2024 Edition; Vaping test and final conclusions:
When it comes to rebuildable atomizers, I always want to test the original spare parts and any supplied coils first, because I believe that this can better help both the reviewer and the reader understand the construction concept behind a new product. I therefore immediately installed the two 0.37Ω Clapton Coils by Hellvape made of Ni80 and the cotton laces present in the package. The resistive value of the coils shown on the sachet is 0.37Ω for each one, in fact once the build operation has been completed the resistive value indicated is 0.18Ω. The "Red-Mix" ripe red fruit liquid I used is one of my favourites, the base is VG/PG 70-30 with 2mg/ml boost added. As with the original V3, also in this case the hit is direct and compact towards the lungs, the greater amplitude of the airflow of Dead Rabbit 3 RTA 2024 Edition comes to the rescue when you want to lower the temperature of the vapor for a more dissolved, while by closing the flow the concentration of boost present in the liquid is significantly felt, and the perception of the flavor is richer and more concentrated. The suction noise with a deep and calm tone is never annoying, in fact the popping of the coils is more noticeable rather than the suction of the suction. Ultimately the air flow from top to bottom is managed magnificently through the measures that we saw during the review and this makes the Hellvape tank an excellent atomizer with a performance equal if not better than the original V3 which was already excellent . Owning a tank with AFC placed at the top also means completely eliminating unpleasant e-liquid losses, making life easy even for new vapers who don't have to go crazy to refine their manual skills in cotton processing. Furthermore, the postless deck simplifies the positioning of the two coils. This atomizer is undoubtedly designed to offer a customizable and high-quality vaping experience, with a focus on ease of regeneration and aromatic yield.
