Hey guys,

look, i used to smoke A LOT when drinking, i cant even help it, and then the day after doing so, i have this horrible taste in my tongue, i cant feel any flavors, my throat hurts, my head aches and its just awfull... I was wondering what experiences did u have with this? Noticed any change when heavy vaping vs. heavy smoking?

I haven't felt any day-after effects from chain vaping that even come close to blazing through a pack all night at the bar. I think one of the big differences is the level of dehydration. If i'm not guzzling h20, its a bad time for me -no room for those old days where ya drink beer 'like water' - not anymore!

Vaping while sick never made me as bad as smoking while sick. On fact, this is the first winter I didn't get bronchitis or needed antibiotics in a very long time. As for drinking and vaping, vaping rather then smoking isn't going to help you avoid a hangover. In fact, vaping may contribute to dehydration, which is a common cause of the hangover. Before going to bed that night, drinks lots of water and take a couple of Advil. That'll help to avoid a hangover.

I'm not sure about the sore throat part but I did read a thread on VapGirl that said after vaping one flavor for awhile it can make your taste buds not be able to taste the full flavor so she suggested switching to another flavor for awhile and then go back to your favorite one and you should be able to taste it again. I wonder if you tried switching between your normal strength E-juice and a lower strength one or a milder flavor when you are drinking if that might help along with drinking some water along the way. I didn't realize vaping dehydrated the body. Good to know!

vaping does dry you out so i'd guess it still gives you a better chance for a hangover compare to just drinking.
compare to drinking and smoking? dunno... everytime i'm drunk i find a cigarette in my hand somehow :D

but get used to drink 2 bottles or glasses of water before you're going to sleep hammered, if you still get hangover eat/drink something with lots of potassium in the morning.

I'd maybe say the hangover part (headaches etc) after chain vaping and drinking might be slightly worse but I'd take that over a night of chain smoking and drinking. With smoking, the next day I get the sore throat and worse breath. Not to mention if I smoke the next day it tastes horrible and makes the throat even worse. With vaping I can keep doing it the next day with no issue.
