Hey everyone, I am new to this forum and vaping in general, bear with me.

I am in the market for a Hana Modz v3 as an upgrade from my itaste MVP. I am wondering how this mod does with your standard tanks, non rebuildables and all that hoopla, I do not know how to build coils or atomizers yet, but I do see this whole vape thing turning into a hobby pretty quickly, so I may learn. I have a Nautilus Aspire which I love, but I read somewhere that these will not work on anything above 12watts, is this true? It might sway my decision if so, because that is the whole point of buying a DNA30 box mod. I can vape my MVP at 11watts all day but I want MORE. Either way I really want one and will soon try my hand at building coils. but any and all info is appreciated if anyone has a Hana Modz and uses a similar set up or if someone just knows everything there is to know about vaping, which a lot of people seem to do!

Side note, How do I add a signature to my posts? Specifically a "Non Smoking counter"?

Gotcha equilibrium, makes sense now. So it will work but it will be far from ideal. Next question, are there any tanks that are a step above the Nautilus but does not require you to build your own coil? Seems like it is basically a tank with replaceable atomizers or a rebuildable, doesnt seem to be any anything in between. Surely there are tanks out there that can handle more watts or more volts than a Nautilus or Pro tank, but does not require you to do any work. If not, might be a good idea. Maybe all these guys who build coils will start building them and selling them, with tank or something. I don't know, I just know that I should probably start watching tutorials on coil building.

Hey jbarrick, was it hard to learn how to build? I have very limited knowledge when it comes to this kind of stuff, however Im fast learner and a stickler for the details. I know I could probably do it, just a matter of trusting it and its durability and safety. How do you like your MVP? Really solid beginner device in my opinion, I cant talk bad about it, it got me off analogs, but I do want something with a little more oomph and flash.

Appreciate the comments guys, I believe I just opened Pandoras box to a full fledged forum addiction!

First of all I was in your situation roughly a month ago I can build my own coils however for my lifestyle and always being on the move I much prefer the aspire tank with the BVC coils. I also have an authentic hana modz v3 and it works flawlessly with my aspire nautty. With those new coils I vape it all the time around 13-15 watts and it blows great clouds and the flavor is intense. If you have any more questions ask away!

Spend 5-10 bucks on a cheap RDA like Igo W clone, buy one meter of 30g kanthal and 1 meter of 28g kanthal, buy some cotton or rayon, 5 grams will be enough. And you will be able to try rebuilding for cheap. Learn to make single micro coil builds at 1.5 to 2.2 ohms, fire them at 11 watts on your MVP and enjoy!

If you enjoy the process, buy powerful mod and start building dual coils. If not, send the kit to fellow newbie and forget about high wattage.

The first coils you build will take forever and look like hell. Keep at it and it will bet quicker and prettier.

It's a nice thing to have something like the nautilus for when you say f it and give up for the day. Keep at it and you will soon be a pro.

Go on on youtube and look at the build videos but realize that they look a LOT bigger on a monitor shot with a macro lens.

That tank looks....perfect. To be honest I love the performance of my Nautilus, but not too crazy about the look. Kinda "fat" or round, bulky. The Silo Tank looks so clean, i love the straight lines and the small gap to see my juice. Man, this forum might become a wallet buster with all the recommendations and new stuff.....I'm getting that tank.

But first, the reason for this thread: The Hana Modz. I am about ready to pull the trigger, had the exact one I wanted, found it online, then I saw the mini. Ooooh la la. I am all about feel when you have it in your hand and that thing looks like it could snuggle up in my palm and take a nap. My main concern is battery life. But I have an itaste VV that only has a 800mah battery and that thing can last me 2 straight days of heavy vaping (I work from home, I vape all day at my computer). No my brain is twisted on the reg or mini. The regular seems to be a little bigger than the MVP as far as width and bulkiness, and the MVP is about my threshold for size when it comes to boxy deices. The mini is in one ear the reg in the other. Now I'm torn. Any suggestions if anyone has a Hana or knows all about them?

Thanks for the tips for building coils by the way, I'm sure I will get there soon enough, and I will do all the research and studying necessary when the time comes, just not right this second. First I need to find my next mod.

I have two V3 Hana authentics. They work great with both home rolled coils on higher end attys like Heron or a Spheroid, and consumer grade Protanks with factory coils. The variable power makes it as adaptable as it needs to be. You likely won't be disappointed.

ETA: I have a full size and a Mini. The full size has a Sony VTC5 2600mah and the Mini has it's proprietary 1200mah battery. Both last me all day at 1.3-1.8 ohm between 8-12 watts; the full size lasts almost two.

Thanks, I figured as much. Mini= about 1 day of full vape, Reg=2 days. Since I have 2 iTaste's that I will not closet completely, they will still get their much deserved use, I still like both the MVP and VV, so I'm thinking this will free some time with a Hana mini and I can stretch the battery to at least 1 day but probably almost 2. One full day is really all you need anyways, from the moment I rise to when I fall asleep. And considering I work from home its not like I will be stranded with a dead Hana. So with that being said....the mini....it is....I think. Ahh crap I will sleep on it.

FYI... Hyperion Vape has them on sale for $199, no taxes and free shipping. They are the latest batch with the LED next to the USB port. It turns from red to green when fully charged. Oh, final note, if you use it at home you can use it as a pass through and vape while it charges.

I see your from KY check and see where the nearest SS VAPES dealer is to you because I got my Hana Modz V3 from them because there having there August special I paid $199.99+ taxes and a free VCT4 battery on my full size Hana. I bounced back and forth on the Mini and Full size but settled with the full size because I wanted something that would last a full day and then some which it does and that's only with a VCT4 so I am sure if I had a VCT5 it would last a while. I would purchase whatever you thinks suites your style. Goodluck

The nearest SS vapes is in Virginia next would be Maryland. I tihnk I am going to go through Hyperion vape. Still cant deide between mini or regular. I know I would love the size of the mini but love the battery of the regular. IS the full size too big in any way? My VP fits perfectly in my hand and there is probably room for a little more size on each end.......I am the most indecisive person you will ever meet, and impatient. Deadly combo.

Ok so I've decided on the regular after measuring the dimensions compared to my MVP. Not too far off really. Just a bit wider and slightly thicker, but shorter. So with that being said, the battery comes in the Hana Modz v3 regular correct? And it does not need to be replaced or interchanged, It will charge with mini USB, is my understanding correct?

The full size requires you to supply your own 18650 battery. Spend the extra 2-5 dollars (over a 1600mah battery) and get a Sony VTC5 2600mah. You'll be glad you did. Yes, once installed you charge it via the built in USB port. Easy as pie.
