So I’m looking to buy this halo aspire gusto or mini. I went to my local vape shop today the guy had one of those and he let me vape it of course he put a new dip tip on it and like wow it’s amazing little device he had the mini and he said that he loves it that’s his go to vape for everyday. So they have two 1100mah 900mah so he explain everything to me but still need on my final decision actually the mini is out of stock but he ordered more on Friday it should be there Wednesday or Thursday. Does anybody on this forum have one or used before if so how is it. Which one should I buy thanks.

I don't have experience with either, sorry. The 1100 mah battery should give you more run time looks like the main difference between them, although if you prefer the form factor of the mini, you could go with that. Really they seem fairly comparable though and will probably vape similarly one just has a slightly higher capacity battery.

If this were to be my primary device, I'd probably want the longer run time, but if you don't mind charging more often then go with the one you like best, overall.

Sorry to not be more helpful.

It’s all good as long as you reply to my thread give an honest answer that’s ok with me I know not everybody going to have what I want that’s why you buy things to try it out maybe someday someone like me might ask a similar question about the devices. Then I can be the guy tell them how it is so they can decide if they want it or not but the only thing is I’m not good at giving reviews.

The pods are rather expensive, 3 for $16 - $24, meaning $32 - $48 for about 30ml of liquid depending on where you buy them.
Some have success refilling them a few times before they're no longer usable, some folks report their pods don't have the little rubber plug in top making them un refillable.

Aspire has partnered with a few other brands beside halo for the gusto kit, depending on where & if on sale I've seen them sold for as little as $12 usually around $25-$30 depending on how many pods are included in kit.

Kinda neato for the small size, very expensive way to vape & locked into buying proprietary pods that may or may not be readily available or even discontinued.
They do go through liquid faster than one would think considering the 1.5Ω & low power output.
The main problem I've heard of is the battery loses ability to hold charge before the 300 charge cycle life expectancy.

Not knocking them, but, you can get something with many more features, adjustable power output & replaceable battery for the same price.

So it be cheaper to refill my own liquid and buy them rather then buy one that is already filled

I don't really understand your statement / question.
I'm not aware of any of the pod type systems that sell empty pods.
E liquid is substantially less expensive in 30ml - 240ml bottles compared to any of the pre filled pods.
If cost is an important factor pod type are most likely the most expensive way to vape.

None of it matters if the pod type is what works best for you.

Thanks for all the help I understand your answer it’s kinda expensive for a pre filled 3 pack refillable pods e liquid it’s like 15.99 for 3 6ml so that’s about 18ml for 15. I could a better deal with e liquid by itself it’s always a deal on them.

To be honest, from what the other guys posted, the 'technificity' of that mod is equivalent to a 4 year old $5-15 mod now.

The standard gusto pods hold 4.2ml, x 3 = 12.6ml of liquid, these are usually $16 per 3 pack = $1.27 per mil.
The newer 6ml pods are tough to find for less than $18 per 3 pack = $1 per ml.
Even if you find them for $16 shipped to your door or from a B&M = .89 per ml

The person that makes the majority of my liquid & hand delivers to me charges about .38 cents per ml / $46.50 per 120ml, most would consider that fairly expensive.

.80 - $1 per ml isn't 'kinda expensive', it is outrageously expensive.

If the pod type is what works best for you, so be it.
Have you tried a few different methods of vaping and found the pod type work best for you?

That's insane. I'm paying 0.10 USD/ml.
