I read that Grant's vanilla custard was the following recipe originally

15% capella vanilla custard
2% TPA Dulce de leche

Since I think 15% is great at first but turns a bit bitter after two weeks I adjusted this

7.5% capella vanilla custard
2% TPA Dulce de leche

Both are fantastic and if you make a small bottle it will never make it two weeks. But if you make a big bottle you may want to try the 7.5%.

This is really good and super simple to whip up

I just got a small sample of GVC as part of a trade. Yep.. it's definitely capella vanilla custard. When I opened the bottle to smell it I knew what was in it. I used to make a vanilla cookie with Capella VC and FA cookie and like it much better than this. This sample is so strong and sickly sweet I had to dilute it by half with unflavored and it's still too rich.

Great recipe!!!
Vaping it now at 15% vc.
Also made a batch at 12% and tossed in 4% of black and mile plus for giggles.

One stop shop for cap van custard and tfa dulce de leche at ecigexpress.

I'm glad you like it. I vape it all up each time I make a batch. The 15% was good for about two weeks, then it turned a bit on me. I made a 50 ml batch, so I personally like this one fresh, no more than two weeks old.

Yea....I vaped up my 10ml bottle over the last few days.....:)

I may whip up a test batch with a few drops of apple cider vinegar and see if it helps keep the mix from changing over time.
I'll report back.

Btw, the batch I made at 12% with black and mile plus is pretty yummy as well.

If you make a bottle of the Capella's Vanilla Custard and a separate bottle of Dulce de Leche, you could just fill your device with 6 drops of vanilla, 1 of dulce (repeat until filled). That would avoid whatever weirdness is happening after they're mixed for a long time.

I do this all the time to try new flavor combinations without the commitment of a big, mixed bottle.

I have both of these flavors separate right now, so I gotta try this combo!

Currently vaping a carto with this combination. So this is the famed Grant's, huh? I've never tried Grant's so can't say if it tastes the same to me. At 6-to-1 (vanilla to dulce) ratio, I taste very little Dulce de Leche. I've adjusted to about 3-to-1 (vanilla to dulce) for a Creme Brule flavor that I like. If I had some 'fresh cream' handy I'd add some to decrease sweetness a tad.
