Genius hack for tight tanks

Hey all! I recently had problems unscrewing the bottom of my uwell Crown tank when I wanted to clean out the gunked out coil and decided to try my luck Googling for a solution. Idk if anyone has shared this tip/hack before, but I thought I would so that in the future y'guys know just what to do when you encounter the same problem I did.



So the bottom line is, don't belittle the humble pair of latex gloves. Haha.

what i do is i tie a rubber band a few times on the tank and it unscrews damn easily... i think its more convenient... u should try it.

Haha I actually did try using a rubber band but nope, didn't work. I do have those kinda latex gloves at home hence it wasn't something I had to go out to get specifically for unscrewing my tank.

Just put a small screw driver into the air hole and hold the tank and push the screw driver in the airhole of kayfun lite

Haha it worked for me so it should definitely work for you too! I initially thought the juice gunked up the bottom and panicked. Coz I'm vaping on a max VG one at the moment. But let me know how it goes for you

I have a pair of rubber lab glove in my coilkit haha! usually don't need them though. The tip to get the right tightness is to

1. Attach base of tank to mod
2. Put the middle tank part (glass/metal)
3. Put the topcap and hold the middle part
4. Tighten the topcap until just nice can't move

I use the rubberized things you put underneath floor mats so that they don't slide.

Rubber bands for me, always easy to find in Australia....Australia Post leaves their nice big red wide ones everywhere theres a mailbox

I use Orings or rubber bands.
not the silicone oring but the black rubber ones.
they also provide good padding if you do have to resort to pliers.

Lol. i dunno, ill use the Apple iPhone 4 Reception excuse "Youre holding it wrong"

I just get one, wrap around the tank part once, twist it, like a figure eight and wrap it around again and presto, grippiness

Its a trick ive passed on to friends, who used to use pliers for stuck tank parts eeeek...

Why the heck pay for that when you probably have dozens of things around the house that will do the same job.

I used those grippy elastic band aids to get a good grip. Or gaffer tape. Works better than pliers, where you may scratch or strip threads.

Cut a piece of balloon. Use that rubber piece. Sticky enough to pry open any tanks!
