Geekvape Zeus Top Cap Seal

Are these ever going to be available?It seems very strange that you would give replacement orings but not the seal.The seal on my original is fine and the topcap screws on tightly but I just received another and the top cap is very loose.Did Geekvape change the seal?? All the reported problems I have seen reference the seal as expanding and then ripping.Just wondering if you decided to make them thinner.Anyway I realize you sell the whole new topcap but they have been out of stock for quite awhile and it seems to me you should absolutely make this seal available separately as this problem is well known. Help!!
I just noticed that the dual does come with an extra seal. Doesn't help me though.lol

Well as it turns out the only thing Geekvape support can offer is a whole new topcap for $6.00.That's $2.00 for each topcap and $4.00 for shipping.Here is my response to that.(and yes I sometimes attack windmills)


So it would be $6.00 for one? Absolutely not! Not sure why anyone at Geekvape would think someone would need a new topcap when the only thing that wears out is the seal.The only reason I can think of is the seal by itself is not profitable enough.You may want to talk to someone in charge about this.I see with the dual Zeus an extra seal is included . I think it's a huge mistake not to offer reasonably priced replacement seals/orings on any device that requires them.I will not purchase anything from a company that doesn't offer this kind of support.

Try that logic with your car dealership when the fix for a corroded pin is a new $1000 wiring harness.

edit: Looks like a replacement top cap seal o-ring comes in the accessory bag (Zeus X).

If your rubber o-rings are swelling up and cracking be sure to keep them away from harsh chemical cleaners like alcohol. Although these look like silicone not rubber.

The seal is not included in the oring bag.The topcap with seal as well as the orings have been out of stock for quite a while.

You could try using a Vernier Caliper to measure for a replacement o ring, something in FKM or FFKM would be an excellent choice. EPDM is good as well.

Shore hardness of 70 or above.

Has anyone measured the top cap o-ring and found a source better than $4 a bag plus the greedy shipping price from GV? Each featherlight bag you add raises the shipping price a quarter to a half buck.
