Hello, today we are going to take a look at the GeekVape Wenax M Starter Kit sent to me by the online shop @sourcemore. In this Test I will examine each of the features that distinguish this item. The kit is housed inside the classic orange Geekvape package. The external cover shows on the front; the brand, the name of the device, a high definition image of the Wenax M + Powerbank kit, the indication of the VPU chipset, its color and the capacity of the cartridge in terms of e-liquid. On the back there are; packing list, warnings, contact address of the manufacturer, barcode, scatch and check, trademarks and legal logos.

► GeekVape Wenax M Starter Kit; Introduction:
I have already tested numerous devices of this kind in the past, in practice it is a good idea that allows you to use a lightweight and compact starter kit but with a high energy reserve. So the GeekVape Wenax M kit uses a design that has already been widely tested by harmoniously integrating the Wenax M Powerbank and the small Wenax M1 Mini device. The Vape Pen Mini M1 is basically a remake of the old M1 pen, which has become shorter with the capacity of the internal battery that has been reduced from 800mAh to 400mAh. However, this is not a problem since the Vape Pen Mini M1 can count on the support of the new Power Bank with internal 18650 battery of 2,500mAh to which to add the 400mAh of the vape pen; 2,900mAh total is really not bad. If you are thinking of inserting the old M1 pen into the new power bank, unfortunately it is not compatible, but you can use the M1 cartridges that are fully compatible with the M1 Mini.

@Sourcemore sent me the "Pastel Purple" version for this test. The Wenax M kit is made of aluminum alloy and has a total weight of about 115g, while the Mini M1 pen alone weighs about 30 grams. The design (PB + Vape Pen) does not differ much from what other manufacturers have previously used for similar products. However, this kit is made in an ergonomic and solid way, the finishes include a leatherette flap that extends from the sides to the handle and increases tactile feedback.

► GeekVape Wenax M Starter Kit; USB Type-C Charging:
As you can see from the image below, both the Power Bank and the Vape Pen can be charged independently via a USB-C cable (not included in the kit). You can also leave the two devices connected and charge only the PB which will then charge the Vape Pen.

► GeekVape Wenax M Starter Kit; OTG Charging:
Using the small cable supplied which is equipped with a double Type-C connector, you can also charge small devices (compatible), or it could happen that your phone is out of battery and you need to make an emergency call; in this case the cable and the PB could be useful, this Redmi Note 13 Pro is compatible with the cable supplied.

► GeekVape Wenax M Starter Kit; Magnetic Charging:
Inside the Power Bank there are 3 small pins that correspond to the 3 receiving magnets on the pen. This allows the PB to keep the pen charged during use, and if you only use the pen to vape, the PB is theoretically able to recharge the pen up to almost 5 times. The powerful magnetic contact is also able to hold the two devices together with force, without the possibility of them separating accidentally.

► GeekVape Wenax M Starter Kit; Smart Prompt, LED and vibration:
When the two devices are joined and the operation is successful, the user will be notified by a vibration feedback. Furthermore, both on the PB and on the Vape Pen there is a LED to refer to to know the charge status of the device. On the Power Bank the ring LED surrounds a button, by pressing this button you can know the current charge level of the PB. The Power Bank LED, and the Vape Pen LED, take on 3 different colors during charging and during use, these colors indicate the battery level in this order:

• Green Light; the charge level is between 71 and 100%.
• Blue Light; the charge level is between 31 and 70%.
• White Light; the charge level is between 0 and 30%.

The VPU chipset also integrates several safety functions that are indicated to the user with different colors and flashes:

• The LED flashes Red before the fault is resolved
• The LED flashes Yellow 5 times when a short circuit occurs
• The LED flashes Red 3 times when the battery voltage is lower than 3.2V
• The LED flashes Yellow 7 times when the temperature of the device is too high.

► GeekVape Wenax M Starter Kit; Compartment/Pod:
The Vape Pen M1 Mini like its predecessor M1 uses the same and tenacious interlocking attachment system for the cartridges, so there are no magnets. Inside the compartment there are the contact pins and the sensor for the automatic activation of the puffs. The two small calibrated holes on the walls of the pen transport the external air towards the coil.

Inside the kit there are two refillable cartridges of 2ML, 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω, the 0.8Ω one allows you to take advantage of the maximum power of Wenax M Starter Kit which is 16W. The two cartridges are made of dark PCTG which does not affect visibility when you want to check the internal level of e-liquid. The cartridge has a replaceable Drip-Tip 510 of MTL type of good workmanship, and with an ergonomic design for the lips. In the package of Wenax M Starter Kit there are also 10 "cig feeling" cotton filters that you can use to reproduce the sensation of a real cigarette. As I said before, if you still have the old M1 Pen, you can also use the same cartridges for the new M1 Mini.

Awesome review, cool to read. Not much choice in my, online sales / flavor banned country, but this weekend I found the Wenax M1 in my neighbouring country, Is it alost the same? It does not have the powerbank or the connections for it, but the rest it is the same, and it has awesome flavor and punch for such a small device.

Thanks for appreciating my review. M1 has an 800 mAh battery, you can do without the power bank. The Power bank is only compatible with M1 Mini. With M1 you get a good MTL vape like M1 Mini.

Oh wow, hard to imagine, but this Wenax M1 mini is even smaller than my m1, and mine is already tiny. gona look around for this kit, So the pods are the same for M1 and M1 mini? I can not remove my driptip.

There are several M1 Pods, it seems they are all compatible with the M1 Mini.
