Hello and welcome back again for today's review on a new SUB-OHM tank from Geekvape that's called the OBELISK C. Many of you will remember the CERBERUS SUB-OHM tank from Geekvape that came out back in 2018, well Geekvape redesigned it with some new features and have called it the OBELISK C tank. I'll tease you a bit before the review letting you know the airflow is different along with new coils. It's still a 25mm tank with 5.5ml capacity and has a attractive appearance. Without anymore hesitation let's check out the new OBELISK C Tank.

BUBBLE AND STRAIGHT GLASS COMPARED
QUARTER OPENING TOP CAP AND LARGE FILL SLOTS
NEW S-SERIES COILS
TRIPLE AIRFLOW SLOTS
FIRST IMPRESSIONS
At first glance the first thing I thought was the OBELISL C would be a perfect match for the new LEGEND 2 device. The lines on the tank in sunlight give off a sort of diamond cut appearance
The OBELISK C also comes with a 510 adaptor not mentioned in the description but shown, a least my sample version did.
The straight glass in my opinion gives a better look to the tank but I like high capacity so refilling is kept to a minimum, I stuck with the bubble glass.
Fill slots are very large as well as being wide and will accommodate any size bottle tip or glass dripper, no problem or mess when refilling quickly. Drip tip is a low profile that works fine .
Something that is usually not mentioned are tank gaskets and O-rings but I feel they are a important part of a tanks performance and the OBELISK C has beefy solid ones for a solid tight seal of the top cap and coil. Coils are screwed into the bottom cap .
The OBELISK C has 3 airflow slots that provide plenty of airflow for all you air lovers and can be reduced down for a RDL vape.
The OBELISK C ships to you with the dual mesh 0.25Ω ( 45-55w ) pre-installed, this coil has plenty of airflow but is more of a RDL vape, flavor is very good. The 2 coils that are supplied with the tank have completely different styles of netting.
The 2nd coil 0.15Ω mesh ( 80-90w ) is a single with a large bore that has a totally different style of netting than the dual, there's much more netting on the single and it's more of a chain link type.
The triple airflow slots are controlled with a turning ring at the base that can be removed for cleaning, resistance is just fine not being too loose or too tight. Hard stops are at both ends.
Both coils provide a very nice flavorful vape and vapor is thick and substantial, normally I gravitate to a more restricted vape and the dual coil provides a very good one but I also like a warm vape as well and the single coil is more my taste in the warmth department.
I told you early on how I felt the OBELISK C would match up nicely with the LEGEND 2 and the one that I was sent a little while back to review was a silver and grey toned device so I attached it and think it works in the match department.
I'm not a fan of low profile drip tips and usually switch them out but the drip tip on the OBELISK C was very comfortable and worked well so I saw no need to change it.
PROS
* Attractive
* Bubble and straight glass included
* Triple airflow slots
* Smooth airflow
* Very good flavor
* Plenty of vapor
* 2 Drip tips included
* 510 Adapter included
CONS
* On the loud side
FINAL THOUGHTS
I like the OBELISK C for many reasons with one being it's a sub tank and a good one at that, if I'm busy and don't have the time to break down a RTA a sub tank comes into play because of it's simplicity of installing a coil, filling the tank, waiting 5-10 minutes for total saturation of the coil and vape. Easy, time saving and pretty good flavor as well.
The OBELISK C has performed well with no issues other than it's on the louder side because of the triple airflow slots ( nit picking ).
Flavor is very good using either coil with less air in the dual but more warmth in the single.
I feel it's a attractive tank and will match up well with many devices as it did on my LEGEND 2 device.
I would like to thank Allison and Geekvape for providing the OBELISK C for the purpose of this review.
THANK YOU
