GEEK VAPE

AEGIS LEGEND WITH AREOMESH tank

REVIEW

I certify that I am 18 years old or older; in fact I’m 18 at least 3.38 times.

This mod and tank was provided by Geek Vape free of charge with no expectations. This review is done purely for the enjoyment of anyone that reads it. I can only hope it helps someone

All of the e-liquid I will be vaping for test purposes will be made by me. I’m using max VG with 3mg/ml nicotine. In some instances I may vape some pure VG through the mod. The VG I use is very high quality and the perfect consistency. It is 99.7% pure, palm based and Kosher certified. The best VG I have used.

The Aegis Legend by GeekVape has a 1 to 200 Watt output range adjustable by 0.1 increments in VW and 200 to 600 degrees Fahrenheit in TC modes. The resistance range is 0.05-3.0ohm in VW mode.

The Aero Mesh tank is 25 x 45mm (w/o thread) the Capacity: is 4ml/5ml. Coil Type: Mesh Coil 0.2ohm (30-90W); IM4 0.15ohm (60-80W) with Thread: 510 threads

Upon Receipt I opened the box to find a Camo colored Aegis Legend Mod, a black Aero Mesh tank with assorted accessories. Included are a USB Charging cable, a manual, spare tank and O rings. Everything seems to be in good shape.

The Legend is a very durable Mod Constructed from several materials to aid in durability and water resistance. The leather is soft and supple nicely padded.

In my first attempt to load a set of LG HE2 batteries in the mod the seal around the battery door is so tight that it is almost impossible to get the battery door latched after several attempts I finally got it to latch closed. With each change of batteries 5 so far it is a bit easier to close the latch on the door. (Probably a combination of practice and a break in time on the mod.) Accessing the USB port is slightly difficult*, the cover gets in the way easily. The Aero Mesh tank was easy to disassemble and reassemble, it is very easy to change coils and fill. This is a very nice tank.

*Due in part from my slightly stiff and swollen arthritic fingers

Turning the device on is the standard 5 clicks. 3 clicks takes you into the menu screens, it’s very easy to switch modes and styles of vaping according to your liking. I set the device at 55.5 watts (my go to vape setting) after a couple of tentative vapes I took a good long vape and about knocked myself over WOW this is powerful. Using the mesh coil not only brings out a good full flavor it is like vaping 25% higher than its set for. I worked my way down to 38.8 for a vape that seems comparable to my 55 watt norm. The AS chipset responds rapidly and consistently with every vape no matter how high you have it set for. Using unflavored 0 mg/ml nicotine to test with I vaped up to 140 watts before I had to give up. The chipset is just as fast and consistent at the higher wattages as well.

This is a great combination of working parts and aesthetics. The mod is a very comfortable fit in my big hands. My wife is very petite and she likes the feel of it as well. Most mods this large are hard for her to handle, but this one is nicely balanced and allows her to use it comfortably, “it feels right in my hand” was her comment.

The fire button is small but comfortable and easy to use. The button is quiet smooth and easy enough to fire without being so easy it fires whenever it is touched. The +/- buttons are well placed and small enough to not accidently adjust the mod, but easy to use.

The Aero Mesh tank is very easy to change coils on, the mesh coils make for a super pleasant vape, refilling is easy I have vaped 5 different flavors through the mod so far. All are equally pleasant. There were three fruit and or fruit with bourbon flavor combinations, one bakery type flavor and lastly straight unflavored VG at 0 mg/ml.

True to its claim, I knocked the mod off the kitchen counter and and absolutely no damage done. I went right back to vaping.
