Hello again everyone, todays review is on a second generation of the Aegis boost from Geekvape. The next version is called the Aegis Boost Plus and the Boost Plus has many upgrades from the first Aegis Boost. The biggest upgrade is in battery life, the original boost utilized a built in 1500 mAH battery that when vaped at high wattages didn't last very long, the new Aegis Boost Plus utilizes a replaceable single 18650 battery giving the user much longer life of the battery and can be changed out on the go. Before I go any further lets get to know the new Aegis Boost Plus a little bit.

As you can see folks Geekvape upgraded some things on the Aegis Boost Plus and some of them are major, one and I think the biggest is we now get a single replaceable 18650 battery to power the device. The screen has also been changed to a 3 color option screen with the colors being red, light blue and green, the Pod size has been increased to 5.5ml and the fill port has been greatly improved and been made larger for a truly mess free filling.
Removing the Pod from the device is done the same way as the original Boost exposing the contacts of the device and coil loading port, when first opened a sticker is covering the coil and must be removed. Pre-installed is a 0.4Ω Mesh KA1 coil that is rated for 25-33 watts.
We now have a much clearer Pod for viewing juice, still tinted but clear enough to even see your coil inside the Pod
Here is a nice shot of the KA1 0.4Ω Mesh coil seen from the Drip Tip opening along with the airflow control knob that remains the same as before
The replaceable 18650 battery is installed from the bottom via a twist off cover just like the original Aegis 100, Aegis Solo and the Aegis Max. Inside the Mod is a red X with the cover showing a - marker for correct battery placement.
The USB port is located on the side in the middle of the device

Well folks that about tells you all the features of the new menu system and the new changes made for the Boost plus. In the long time I've had testing it out I have had absolutely no issues come up, I think their using the same chip as with the original Boost and I had 0 issues with that one also. The Coils are putting out very good flavor and lasting a very long time, as a matter of fact I'm still using the pre-installed coil as I write this review and still getting acceptable flavor although the Mesh is turning black.
I know some people were having leaking issues with the original Boost although mine still performs leak free I wanted to do a 1000 vape test to check for any leaks and to check the life of the 0.4Ω KA1 Mesh coil that I really like so I did just that and have had 0 leaks or condensation and like I said the Coil Mesh is getting very gunky but the flavor is still very good. the last 2 pictures are of the number of vapes put through this device and the inside of the device and Pod after the 1000 + vapes I put through it.
PROS
* Replaceable single 18650 battery
* Attractive
* 2 Drip Tips included
* See through Pod
* Fully adjustable airflow
* Color screen
* Easy menu system
* New button design
* Long Coil life
* Very good flavor
* 0 leaks or condensation
* Solid Pod connection
* Size
* Weight
* No mess fill port
* Ergonomic hand fit
* Easily check coil by looking through the Drip Tip connector
* Top fill
CONS
* Small font at bottom of screen
CONCLUSION
The Aegis Boost Plus has performed flawlessly for me for over 1000 vapes and continues to. The flavor from the G coils is above average with a lifespan that's impressive also. Anyone that has a original boost and is wondering if they should get the new Aegis Boost Plus my answer is yes.
I would like to thank Clay and Geekvape for providing the new Aegis Boost Plus for review and I also hope my review helped anyone deciding on purchasing the new Aegis Boost Plus.
THANK YOU
