Hi , i am wondering if there are any flavorless , low nic pods around? I have been using the Vuse alto 1.8% , but am trying to go lower , which i think would be maybe .6 0r .3 , or something to that effect. I'm used to the pods and trying not to use disposables , so there is not too much battery recycle issue. Trying to keep the liquid as clean and less chemicals as possible, not much of a flavor guy . Just not sure if they make any pods like this? thanks for any help

Just to clear things up for you @razzer, vape pods are open mod systems that you can use any liquid you wish.

That's Not True!!!

Not all pods are open systems. Many are closed. In fact, many of the pod devices released lately are closed disposable devices.

There are open pod devices that a user can use any e-liquid they desire.

I do not use pod devices. However, there are many pods available which allow you to use whatever e-liquid you desire. Including flavorless.

I would suggest reading some pod reviews by our fellow ECF members. They are not paid for their reviews nor are they associated with any of the companies whose mods they review. Each is very experienced with many devices.

Here:

You can always ask any of the reviewers questions in their review threads. I imagine @bigbob2322, @hittman, @Frenkyou and @Z-Lee would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.

Good luck!!! :)

Sounds to me like the OP is looking for pre filled pods at lower strength. I’m not sure where to go for something lol that. Most pods I’ve reviewed are filled with your own liquid. You could just mix your own unflavored nic and fill pods.

You can order flavorless liquid {in a variety of nic strengths, PG/VG ratios, and amounts} from the website linked to below. They're located in California, and they ship their products both within the US and internationally. They've got a lot of very good reviews for their eliquids. As an example...their flavorless 3mg eliquid is $10.99 + S/H for a 60mL bottle. If you sign up for their email newsletters ...you can get $10.00 off your order.

You could use it to refill the pod/cartridge on any pod set-up that was refillable. There are many of those on the market now to choose from. So you wouldn't be using disposables. You would need to buy extra refillable pods/cartridges and possibly coils to replace in them, too. Some pods/cartridges come with a coil in them, and you just use them until the coil inside dies, and then throw the whole pod/cartridge away. Some pods/cartridges take a replaceable coil, so the life of the pod/cartridge is longer.

If you wanted to save a bunch of money on eliquids though, instead of buying from a vendor...it would be very easy to learn how to make your own flavorless eliquid. :thumb:

Yeah @Kimsalter, only things that you need to replace every so often is the pods and or coils.

As with some the coil is integrated into the pod, and there's also ones where they're separate.

So I'm thinking that you'll possibly be interested in the basic end ones with draw activation instead of pressing a button, but I could be wrong.

And there's some output adjustment, so you can either increase and decrease the vapor produced so you can tailor it to your preference.

Another option would be to just get one that has the option of pressing a button and auto draw both. I recently reviewed the Oxva Xlim Pro and it does both as well as having a display screen with adjustable output.

The Freemax Galax Pro has the same option @hittman, just been trying to find it anywhere at the moment.

Only elementvape in the US is showing stock at a ridiculous price, for what they're asking it's possible to get a mod and a tank setup.
I don't have as much experience with the Freemax pods especially since they have decided to abandon ECF. The rep hasn't posted on their forum since last year. I do have experience with the different versions of the Oxva Xlim and have liked them. I keep the Pro in rotation at least for now. That's why I recommended it since I am currently using it in rotation.

Just throwing in my :2c: :D

I’ve been using the VooPoo Argus G since I received it over a month ago, still using the same .7 ohm coil it came with. I don’t use it all day, but it works really well with the 6 mg unflavored juice I make.

Mind you, you’ll need to source your nic and these pods are not rebuildable.

That's a good one too. The pods will leak if you let them sit unused too much. At least that was my experience with it. As long as I had it in regular rotation it was fine but let it sit a week and had some leaking.

Good to know. I don’t think I went much longer than 2 days without hitting it and have yet to notice any leaking. That’s way better than the performance I’ve seen with my Klypse or Xros. Both of those are in the time out box for bad behavior

I'm surprised about the Xros. Are you using the new pods? I pocket carry and keep two of the Xros at work. I let them sit over the weekend while I am off and they haven't leaked at all.

Whichever was the square shaped body. It seeped a bit and the af control seemed to crap out. So after that, I felt if I really loved it, I’d get another one. But, I didn’t.

Don’t get me wrong. I think pod systems are great if everything was readily available, or at least as dependable as the mods we’ve come to know and love. But, having to source out drop ins can be really irritating, especially if they’re here one day and gone the next.
