Hey All!
I was wondering if anyone knows of where to get e-juice flavoring that is stevia based? Im on a ketogenic diet and the sweeteners used in 99% of e-juice flavoring acts as a spike for insulin which doesnt comply with my diet.. I have read other discussions on the subject and although it may be a pretty controversial issue id rather just be safe and see if i can make my e-juice with stevia based flavoring. Id really appreciate and would be grateful for some knowledge on this. THANKS!

Do a quick search for NOW Better Stevia Liquid.
If you are DIYing, flavors do not contain sweeteners. You need to add them (although many flavors are naturally sweet, along with VG).

I use stevia in all my mixes. NOW version is water, alcohol and stevia, only.

In other words where please would you know can I get unsweetend flavors?
You're probably gonna have to DIY your own liquid if you want 0 sweeteners. I'm type 1 diabetic (have been for over 20 years too) I've been vaping for over 2 months, haven't seen any significant changes in my blood sugar, although i do keep myself quite active.

Not to be the Grammer police but it is DIY.
As in Do It Yourself.
May have been an autocorrect but figured I'd mention it for the new folks lol.

I am no expert but was under the impression that some flavorings may have sweetener already in them.
I DIY and have found with the right combination you do not need sweetener.
However I enjoy sweet juice so on occasion i add sweetener.
I have not used stevia myself but hear it is better for coil longevity.
As far as a commercially available juice, most will not tell you what they use for fear of it being "cloned" and losing money.
Maybe someone else can help more.

Thanks qc... so you by sweetend juice?
Anything that has a nice fruity taste i like i buy didn't even know they added sweeteners before recently, still if you're on a strict diet i'd ask your doc first but i can tell it dosen't affect my diabetes at all.

Also thx @Hightech Redneck i didn't even noticed i inverted those letters lol

Just that basically im just lookin for flavor concentrates without sweeteners. :)
I think most fruity flavors are either natural flavoring (aka naturally sweet) or they use a bit of artificial one. I for one am vaping something called quad berry atm (black currant, blackberry, blueberry, raspberry) has 0 sweet taste it's really just fruity even tastes a bit.... Bitter ?

Just wondering if you could test your sugar before vaping, then test after to see if it really does affect the results.
If you mean me then yes i could, but then again it's a waste of strips, also there's clear signs when you start having either a high or low blood sugar. I mostly check my levels before eating or when snacking i'd probably have to vape a whole bottle of 60ml to really see a difference and attribute said difference to vaping. Some diabetic have it worst than others(ie mostly type 2 or 3 sometimes) i'm type 1 and can eat/drink whatever whenever as long as i have my insulin with me.

Are you asking about finished e-liquid products, that are ready to vape, AND use stevia as a sweetener?

Or, are you asking about flavor concentrates (that might contain Stevia), which must be diluted with PG, and/or VG, before they can be vaped (used by DIYers to make their own e-liquids)?

If it is the second; you might want to ask a moderator to move this to the DIY E-liquid sub-forum, as you might get additional input.

I have been DIYing for over two years now, and I have not come across any flavor concentrate manufacturers, that mention their using Stevia.

EDIT: While looking at major concentrate manufacturers, I ran across this:
Capella Flavors with Stevia
PLEASE NOTE that Capella lists these as "beverage flavors" intended to flavor bottled water. I DO NOT KNOW IF THESE WOULD BE APPROPRIATE FOR VAPING. You will need to do your own research.

Many flavor concentrates do not contain actual sweeteners though there are some that do. As an example; Flavor West's Yellow Cake concentrate, has significant fructose. The best thing I can recommend, is to stick to concentrate manufacturers, that are as transparent as possible.

The Perfumer's Apprentice' (TPA) flavor line, called The Flavor Apprentice (TFA), is a great example. If you go to their site's FAQ page, and click on the "Flavor Specification Sheets, MSDS/SDS and Certificates of Analysis" link, and then click on "Click Here for MSDS and Specification sheets," you will see every single flavor they produce listed. Click on any concentrate's far right "List" tab, and you will see every ingredient used to make that concentrate, and a general range of how much might be used to make it. Just like the ready-to-vape e-liquid manufacturers, they won't disclose exact percentages, to protect their precise formulas; but it will make it easy to avoid any ingredients you personally want to stay away from.

I have not come across another manufacturer, that is as transparent as TFA, but they may be out there. Check the manufacturer websites, you like to use, and see. (I would not depend on third party vendors, that sell multiple manufacture lines, as they will not have access to actual ingredients.)

When all else fails, you could send an email to the manufacturer, about specific concentrates you are interested in. If you keep your list brief, and explain that it is for health reasons you are inquiring, they will likely at least tell you "yes" or "no" regarding specific products. (If you simply ask "What are all the flavors you make that contain sweeteners?" the will likely ignore you.)
