Hi all,
I'm fairly new to vaping, and am a bit confused about who's selling authentic vs fake Kanger products.
First, I see two websites claiming to be Kanger's: szkanger(dot)com and Kangeronline(dot)com. Anyone know what the deal is? Are both legit? Is one the corporate site and the other their web store?
I bought a mini protank 2 from a web shop with a presence here in this forum (with their own sub forum, in fact) and who sells a lot of cloned items that are clearly marked as clones. Unfortunately, looking at Shenzhen Kanger's website, I do not see them as an authorized distributor. Looking for replacement coils, I saw that this store sells 1.5, but not 1.8ohm coils. Both websites claiming to be Kanger's list 1.8 coils as the lowest for the mini protank.
Browsing these forums, I found another shop that links to Shenzhen Kanger's website as proof that they sell authentic stuff, and they are indeed listed as a distributor. This shop sells 1.8 coils, not 1.5..
Was I ripped off by the first store? Should I suspect the batteries and tank I've bought?
I really don't want to mess around with clones, both for ethical and for safety reasons. Don't want exploding batteries or tanks with lead or other heavy metals leeching into the juices...
