Hey!

Just got my mini starter kit from e-smokey treats and have a few questions since I am 100% new to e-cig even though I browsed a lot here before ordering.

What's the purpose of the empty mouthpiece?

So I read that the batteries do not come charged anymore but still put a cartridge in and it worked :) . The led goes out during my drag though - low battery? Or does it go out as the atomizer overheats?

Meanwhile, I put the other battery to charge. As I screwed it into the already plugged in charger, the batterry's led blinked but now is off. Normal? The charger led is on, don't ask me what color because I am colorblind especially for that:D . I think it's yellow.

I know these noob questions are frustrating, so any help is apreciated. i just want to enjoy it asap.

Thanks!!

First, the empty cartridge is just to protect the atomizer during shipping. But don't throw it away . . . you may turn into a direct atomizer dripper, in which case you might enjoy your empty cart. :)

Second, the batteries typically have some charge in them when you get them, but not a good enough charge to get a good vape out of (although few of us can avoid the temptation of taking a "test puff" when our new toy first arrives).

Third, how long to charge? Who knows. There have been many knowledgable members who have posted that the long charge times suggested by the various manufacturers aren't really necessary. Many people also feel that the charger light turning green means less than nothing--others say that when it's green, you're good to go. Me, I'm a wuss, and I simply follow the manufacturer's instructions slavishly.

But here are some thoughts of others on the ever popular debate about exactly how long you need to charge those suckers:
