Dropped my first geekvape l200, ....ed it... Geekvape are sending me a new one free of charge, in the meantime I purchased a new L200 off the net, it arrived yesterday...

I charged the batteries 18650's externally, put them into the mod and been puffin like mad... The battery indicator has gone down 1 bar, (1 dot on each battery so still 4/5 charged)

But it's coming up Battery Low every now and then.... Is this another fault of the L200?

Is there a fix for this? Firmware update or something?

Really like the L200.... I hope this problem is fixable else I'm just Guna get a refund under consumer waRrenty, and when the other new one arrives from geekvape I'll just sell that too....

If this is an on going fault, what mods rival that of the L200?

I got bloody 5 tanks for the mod, I like to swap tanks/flavours throughout the day

Any advice is appreciated
Cheers

First thing I would try is cleaning the battery contacts in the mod. And the + and - ends of the batteries. A dodgy contact could cause dodgy readings. It could also be a bad spring in a contact. Doubt it's anything to do with the board or the firmware.

Are the batteries new and properly paired? Probably worth trying new batteries before you give up on it. And make sure you have legit batteries. There's a lot of clone batteries around and if that's what you have it could cause intermittent readings.

good luck
