Hello all, I'm hoping somebody out there can help me figure this one out.....

Being a noob I got the EVOD starter kit which came with 2 full setups...

pressing the button on the batteries 5x to turn it on makes the led blink red, then blue, then green, then when holding to vape, the led is green...

Now, after charging a few times, one of the batteries has a red led when vaping after turning it on..... The charger light turned green meaning it was finished charging and the battery is not blinking to show it still needs a charge, I may not even be explaining it right, but if anyone has experienced this and knows what might be going on, I'd appreciate your input.

Oh, I guess I should add that it still working properly, just dont know why the light would be red instead of it's normal green when in use.

Is it an authentic Kanger Evod, or a knockoff? My Kanger Evod batteries only have white LED's, both when turning on and when pushing to vape. Maybe they do make some with different color LED's, but the 4 I have are all white.

Mine must be a knockoff ... doesnt say kanger anywhere on the box and the leds are colored

I have a evod knockoff. It has 4 volt sttings and each setting lights up the button a different color. Red, Blue, Green and yellow-ish. So pressing the button 5 times turns it on and off, and pressing 3 times changes the volts. If I remember correctly, the volts go from 3.7-4.0 but don't hold me to that, not at home to look at the paper that came with it. hope this helps

To the best of my knowledge, mine doesn't change voltages, I didn't get any paperwork with it, I think I'm going to hunt down a real kanger and have this one as a backup.

Oh, and if you could send me the info in the paper you have with yours it just might help me figure this one out.
Mine came with 2 batteries and one has red led and the other green when held to vape, originally both stayed green when held, so maybe I can change the settings somehow.

Yes definitely a knockoff, Kangertech should be stamped on the side of the battery and a "K" etched into the bottom metal of an authentic Kanger. Not to say knockoffs are all bad, I buy them sometimes to save a few bucks, nothing wrong with that!
