I have both the TFA-Ethyl Maltol and the TFA-Sweetener. According to the description they both seem to do the same thing. I did see that the Ethyl Maltol is used to 'soften' other flavors but I'm not really sure what that means. I've also seen recipes that use one or the other or sometimes both. When do you guys tend to use one or the other? I'm currently using them interchangeably.
