That’s interesting since I bought the pico as a kit with the melo 3 atty.Your atty is going too far down into the 510 well. You need to add a spacer to the 510 deck to allow the atty to sit at the right height.![]()

Justvsawca video thatvuse a small piece of paper or cardboardcas a spacer. It doesn't really matter which atty is used. Got mine the same, with a Mello 3 mini, and it started happening a week later. I just used an old plastic card that I cut into a circle at first and that still works great. I also have some heat shields that I picked up at Fasttech, but that takes a while to get in.
Maybe Google 510 spacer or heat shield for something close to you.

I’d say I definetely need a spacer.
If I loosen the atty slightly, it works all the time.
I’ll have to make a good spacer.
Temporary solution: place a 510 drip tip O-ring around the male 510 threads of the atomizer.
Only attach the atty until "snug"
Tight, torqued, wrenched, even firm, is too tight.
Cheers

3 layers of camel blue box works.Appropriately, I tried a paper spacer made from an old Camel Blue hard pack !
Did not work.
I’ll have to add more layer.
If it works, it will be a good temp fix.

I have some tramp art out of cigarettes boxesI'm glad you recycled a cigarette product into something *useful*![]()
Also glad your mod is now working.

The only times I have had that happen with any of my battery holders (your pico in this case) is when either the coil has popped or the pin on either the battery holder or the topper (your melo in this case) is pushed in to far.Every so often when I push the fire button on my eleaf pico it shows “no atomizer”.
I’ve cleaned the pins on the mod and atty.
Any ideas why the message ?
This is a known issue with this version of the pico. That fix is on another thread in the forum. The only times I have had that happen with any of my battery holders (your pico in this case) is when either the coil has popped or the pin on either the battery holder or the topper (your melo in this case) is pushed in to far.
When that happens I use a pointed device (I personally use the end of a diamond coated fingernail file) to gently move the pin side to side on both the topper and the holder. I turn the battery holder off while working on the pin since my nail file is made of metal. This action tends to raise the pin allowing better contact between the 2 pins. This action may not help in your case but is a tip for future problems.
Depressed pins are usually caused by tightening the topper to the holder too tight. The problem of depressed pins on battery holders has been addressed by replacing solid pins with floating pins but if e-liquid gets in there it can make the pin stick thus rendering the floating action nil. HTH
