Hi, so I’m new to this. I recently purchased the eleaf IJust 3. When I bought it the guy who sold it to me primed my coil and sold me some extra ones and told me they should last about a week. The one he put in for me did last about a week, but I’ve had to change the coil twice since then and every time they have only lasted about a day if that before burning. It’s probably user error because I’m new to this, but I was just wondering if anyone could help me and tell me what I’m doing wrong. Thanks!

Those coils need to be primed well before using. That means you drip juice into them and let them sit for a while to allow juice to penetrate and throroughly soak the cotton filler. Keep dripping juice onto the cotton and wait a few minutes each time for it to penetrate. Once the juice sits on the cotton for a while without penetrating it's ready to vape. You always want to prime a coil and have it ready while you are using the previous one. Coil priming should be done in advance and the coil allowed to sit for a while before use.

More info is needed here. What is the suggested wattage for the coil you are using? Coils usually have a wattage rating included in the packaging or on the coil itself.

Welcome and glad you joined.
Coils and sub-ohm'g can get pricey but worth the cost to wean you off smokes.
