I have an egrip 2 and I have issues with burning my coils which results in a lot of money lost. I read that on the device is a temperature control however I am having a difficult time finding out how to actually use it, or know how to actually set it to a temperature that will not burn out my coils.

I'm using at a 15 wattage. Sadly forgot name of coil I'm using but it's the one that came with it for 8 to 20 wattage.

Any suggestions from anyone?

You will need to supply a bit more info for help on this but are you priming the coils and starting at low power? To use TC you need the correct coils not Kanthal.

Vape On safely

I do start on an 8 wattage and work my way up. Each coils only lasting me about a day to a day and a half sadly.

Was not aware I needed to buy special coils that would most likely help then!

Not familiar with your device but for TC you need Ti, Ni, TiNi, SS or CC coils. How many ML's in a day and what kind of e-Liquid? I have found that sweeteners clog and foul my coils up fast and I do not use in my DIY mixes. Trying to help you get to the bottom of your issue and make your vaping experience pleasurable.

I'm having about 5-8 mg a day tops, I use a dry tobacco flavor that isn't sweet at all. It's by a brand called vapermate.

I do have a habit of using it to often I'm sure as I'm using this to get off cigarettes so that's why i think I'm over heating it often. So I don't know if there is any special coils they make for this device that can't get burnt? Or if simply getting temp control ones will fix my issue?
