Any suggestions on tank options for Ego One Mini (Joyetech). In a quest to find a tiny device that would last more than my 400mah I stumbled upon the ego one mini and love how much battery I get in such a small pkg, HOWEVER, I hate the airy draws that I get with these tanks and would like something with a tighter draw (like long slow flavorful puffs vs short bursts- sip and savor if you will, lol) Anyone have any recom on a 16mm tank?? Tried a Joyetech Delta 16-better ohms wise, kinda miss the tiny height of the other tho and both seem to mute the flavor of my fave flavors a bit. (Wish the orig tank would just let me put in a 1.2-1.8) I do really like a warm vape since I was used to top coil clearos and not a fan of the sub-ohm coils...... Are there any options or am I just being too specific?

Welcome to ECF!

Which coils are you using? The 1 ohm coils have a tighter airflow than the .5 ohm coils.

As far as 16mm tanks go, I don't have any ideas. If you had the regular Ego One, I know of a few 19mm tanks that would work.

Had started with the 1.0, and *apparently* burnt that one beyond recognition (which I found out after I purch the delta 16 and commented how everything tasted like an overbaked cheesecake....cheesecake was the first one I filled w/) Totally a nube move since I had never used an atomizer type before and put only a couple tiny drops to prime and fired right away w/o any priming puffs :(
Person at store that purchased delta 16 from showed me how to prime the .5 correctly, but that thing was brutal! Too harsh of a lung hit and the sizzling noise it makes def makes me question inhaling anything off it! Lol, not to mention I kinda chain vape at certain times and the atomozer area gets a bit too warm for my comfort if I use it more than a cpl mins. I guess I shouldve just bought the new 1.0 too, but my exp with an Evod/Evod 2 clearos was that I liked around 1.8 so I just figured the 1.0 wouldn't be much diff from the .5 -???? But......what do I know, lol, I didn't realize the terrible taste I was getting was the result of me roasting the coil (to the point the oh so lovely sales guy couldnt contain his laughter) :-/

I own the 1100 mah regular Ego One. I use the 1 ohm coil and it's a bit too tight of a draw for my liking. It is a very warm vape. From what I've heard, the .5 ohm has a much bigger airway so it's much airier. Also, being a subohm coil, it puts out a lot more vapor.

I think the 1 ohm coil would suit your vaping style better.

I use the clr (rebuildable) heads for the ego one. They come already prepared and are supposed to be 1.0 ohm, but they always read 1.2 ohms on my meter. I use them as they come and later rebuild them to 1.8 ohms. As far as airflow, when I almost totally close the air hole on the ego one base, they are only slightly more airy than an evod.

Hmmm, have to keep that in mind; is there somewhere here to look for more info on rebuilding them? And is it something time consuming?? Im not one that so much has time to turn vaping into much of a hobby, (aside from flavor sampling lol) but may look into if its fairly simple :) Thanks for the recom!

nautilus mini sounds like it would be spot on for what you are looking for...
That particular tank is 19mm and the OP's Ego One Mini battery is 16mm. Insofar as 16mm tanks go, the GS Air is one of the better bets for a good MTL hit with good performance... especially with the newer 1.2 ohm cotton coils.

understood - aware of the nautilus mini size and form factor, having owned a couple - was referring primarily to performance characteristics being spot on with OP's original request for tank performance recommendation as opposed to size request... mea culpa... even at 19mm, the nautilus is a tried and true tank solution for MTL vaping and has a very reliable track record - I reckon I was prioritizing performance over size... (lol, not that THAT could be taken out of context...)

vape on!
