Not trying to be silly, but maybe the battery is already at full charge. Have you vaped on the battery to see if it's dead? IF you know the batteries are needing charging and you still have a problem, then ignore this post and follow Abe's suggestion.. and NOONE should provide addresses or personal email address on the public forum.

I have many of these chargers and have found the red lights don't always stay on while in the charging process but do blink lightly inside the green light, if you stair at the green light and see a slight blink every few seconds the batt is still charging even though the light is green. I must have 10 of these chargers and it seems 4-5 of them 1/2 work like this compared to the ones where the red light stays on until it is charged. Personally I think it is a manufacturers faultiness in QC with in this led and the part that makes the lights come on red or green or blink but the chargers still work for me. I would make sure you have a Battery that is very low and needs a charge and plug it into one of these chargers and let it sit for the standard charging time and see if it charges or not, if it charges your charger is probably fine.

I know the battery wasn't fully charged. I used it until the light blinked to indicate that it didn't have enough power left to continue functioning. I put it on the chargerand the light stayed green, but I thought maybe that it was a defect and would still charge. About 4 hours later, I needed to use the battery, and it worked for about 5 minutes and was dead again.

I've tried it in both USB and wall adapter and it makes no difference, so I believe the wall adapter is working properly.

After some more time fiddling with it since my original post, it appears that one doesn't work often enough to even say it's half working, and the other is charging half the time or a little more. I have 2 dead batteries hooked up right now, and one is red and the other stays green. Hopefully the charger that is semi-working stays that way, but for a while last night I couldn't get either of them to do anything.

I will email my order info and this issue to LF.

Thanks,
Rayvis

Got ya, I have found these things are very finicky at times as well, sometimes you have to wiggle the batt, unscrew and re screw it in, and I've had the same issues with mine though I didn't get them through LF but just recently had sent one back to the place I did get it and have it replaced so I know what your saying, was just trying to help and see if I could get you charging again. I just got 2 Ego Mega Batts at LF and they are awesome.

There are a few issues flying around, my eGo's have been with us for a few months, maybe June/July so I don't know what the most current stock is like from Joye, we will have a lot more kits from them ina few weeks so I am trying to get to the bottom of this problem.

Some of our eGo wall chargers don't seem to change the colour of the USB chargers, we have other wall chargers not from Joye and all of those seem to work. I don't know for sure what % do this but it is enough for it to be on the radar.

A smaller percentage of the USB chargers have issues, again it is something we have noticed (0% problems would be nice!), I didn't know about the light not working right but the charger still works, actually one or two people have mentioned this. When it comes to issues we simply resend items that don't work. What we want to do is go back to the supplier(s) and get them to sort this out.

I have 3 unused sets saving for spares. Should I break them open and use them for a day and make sure they all work?

I would say you should always test your hardware.. even the atties... if you don't have a meter a quick activation is enough to see if it works.. one charge of the battery and utilize your current used atty to test them all.

That's just the way I do it...

My Riva901 Charger doesn't charge the batteries up unless i get a mini screwdriver and pry up the metal pad in the charger hole a bit each time i want to charge a battery, Abe did say he would replace it in my next order i'm just waiting on something else to catch my interest lol. Maybe an eGo passthrough or something hmmmm :D

I just got the start kit in the mail today from LF. WOOT!
Right when i charge the batteries the USB light turned green. The light on wall charger is red though. Same results on both batteries. Unplug it from the wall and try USB through my PC and they stay green as well. Watched the video by Shan B. I couldn't get mine to be red like his.

I haven't test them yet, only been charging for 3 hours. I'll update later.

I don't think the wall charger unit changes colour, it's not active I believe (unlike the usb charger). The USB chargers themselves don't seem to be too clever either, your battery might be charged already btw.

I just received my eGo kit and have the same issue with my plug-in charger. In the USB port it changes from red to green as it charges but plugged in to a power strip I get a red light on the plug portion and a green light on the USB portion. I did notice that the LED on the eGo battery itself blinks and it is charging, there's just no way to know for sure when the charging cycle is complete. It isn't a huge deal since it is charging but it is kind of annoying that you can't tell when it is done.

Just got my kit the other day and I'm having problems with the wall charger too. The usb charger (when plugged into the pc)seems to work fine...red light while charging, green light when charged. But when plugged into the wall charger, the light on the usb charger stays green...even with a completely drained battery.
