Hello guys,

4 days ago i bought a new ce5 e-cig. it was working fine until yesterday the battery went out (blinked 10 times when trying to vape), i connected i to a charger and the battery led started flashing 20 times and the LED didint flash anymore just the charger LED went red. Now the charger LED goes green when i connect the battery but still flashing 20 times and then shutting off, also when i try to vape it flashes 10 times. what could be the problem? i tried to lift up the center pin up a bit but no help.My friend also tried connecting to his charger but still flashes and nothing.:(:(:(

Help guys tell me if its dead or something.

P.S. Merry Christmas guys :>

Welcome to the forums. Just to try everything, did you click 5 times on and or off to see if that made a difference? When if flashed 10 times it usually means it's dead and shut off.

All else You might have to take to the place you bought it and exchange it for another.

it only needs 3 clicks. and no it didint. but when i take the cartomizer off and press the button it flashes like it supposed to.

ohh btw i went to a e-cig shop in my city to get liquids with my friend and i told the vendor the problem he shook , hit a few times and did something with the center pin and it was charging.... until i put the cartomizer on:/

Sounds like the cart is pushing the center pin down and not making contact with the center pin of the chargers.
If your using a charger with a solid center pin like this
Try pulling the center pin of the charger out a hair. I ran into the same thing with mine. Have not had a problem since

Didint work:///// Oh, my friend tried it on his charger too, got the same blinking, and his batt works just fine..:( the charger light goes from red fast to green and then comes the 20 blinks....

I would try pulling up the center pin On your ecig after taking your ce5 off. Not sure if you have a ce5 or cartomizer at this point. But either way the center pin on your ecig needs to be walked up a little. Look up a tutorial for more in depth. But basically with your ecig off you use a tiny screwdriver to pull the center pin out. Then connect it to the charger. Also you could have juice dried on the center pin.

I've got exactly the same issue with a 1100mah battery (Ego style) - it's a rebranded VIP one. Just got it as a gift for Christmas. I've arranged it's return/replacement. Blue LED on the battery flashes for like 20 times, but the charger remains green. I've tried it with a few other chargers, USB (via computer and a wall charger) and can't get it working. Never been used, connections seem sound (and all the chargers I have will charge my other batteries fine). Nothing obviously wrong with the battery but won't charge at all. Sounds like a dud battery :(

As for the LED glowing when charging, it might depend on the charger/battery - but all my Ego batteries glow blue when charging, with the LED on the charger glowing Red. When it's finished charging, the blue LED on the battery flashes a few times and goes out, and the battery LED glows green. Something doesn't sound right, but it may be a different battery setup?

I'll try my friends charger and post back.
