I've been using an eGo for quite some time (a few years) and kind of stopped keeping up with the times (partially because I fell off the vape wagon and went back to analogs for a bit).

I recently went from cartridges to tanks for my eGo and these were working well. I needed a new battery and ordered what was just listed as an "eGo battery". When it arrived I noticed that it said "eGo-C" on it. Didn't think much about it, screwed on the tank atomizer and it is working just fine. I then finally looked at the difference between the C and T setups (on the Joyetech website), and saw the "C" type uses the atomizer heads while the T type uses the full in-housing atomizer.

Not knowing there wa a difference and with my tank atomizer working just fine on both my Ego-C battery (and an old eGo battery from back before there even was a C and T) I just want to know - is there any difference at all between an eGo-C battery and an eGo-T battery? And if so, what is the difference? Per the Joyetech website, the suggested price for an eGo-C battery is $4.00 more than for an eGo-T battery. They look exactly the same to me.

The eGo-c has three basic models - the eGo-c, the eGo-c 'upgrade' and the eGo-c Twist. What they have in common that is an upgrade to the eGo-t is better short and charge protection. Also I'm not sure if some of the new eGo-t's have this now but the eGo-c (not the Twist though) has a changing led from white at full charge to aqua, light blue to dark blue and low charge. Nice for when you're going out to make sure you're 'white' when leaving...

There is small differences in threads as well from t to c. The eGo-c 'upgrade' has two modes - one regulated to around 3.3-3.5v and one unregulated where you have @4.2v off the charger then it goes through a regular "3.7v batt curve" going to 3.2V at the end of the charge. The eGo-c Twist is a variable voltage batt between 3.2v and 4.8v. All come in sizes from joyetech of 650mAh, 900 and 1000. Basically 6.5, 9 and 10 hours of charge- ymmv.

And you're right - the eGo-t 'system' (atty/tank) is different from the eGo-c in that the coil units in the c are replaceable - at around $4-5 per unit vs. having to buy a whole new eGo-t atty at $10+.

The biggest improvement is in short and charge protection - so far the eGo-c is unbeatable and the newer eGo-t's are better than the older eGo's or clones.
