After much research and thought I have settled on the eGo C tank system as the mainstay of our vaping program in our household.
Yesterday I placed an order with My Freedom Smokes for

  • 2 x eGo-T Soft End Caps (10 Pack)
(Size & Color: Type B Clear)
  • 1 x joyetech eGo-C 1000mAh Starter Kit
(Color: Stainless Steel, Atomizer: Type B - Low Resistance 1.7 ohm)
  • 1 x Plunger Fitting (Patent Pending)
  • 2 x eGo-C Cartridges (5 Pack)
(Type: Type B Hard Gasket Blue)
They happen to be running a Facebook promotion and was able to apply a discount code that made an attractive set up irresistible.

Hopping that it all gets here sooner than later.

The most interesting item to me is the Plunger Fitting. I use Luer Lock Syringes and blunted needles for filling carts so I felt I did not need the plunger kit, just the plunger. This item should make cleaning and refreshing carts and atty's much more efficient.

The eGo C battery has been upgraded to incorporate more protection circuits. This was relayed to me by Dustin in sales.

One of our current type B tanks got some liquid in the airway chamber. The tank was easy to disassemble into its four component parts

  • End cap
  • Tank body
  • interior air way baffle
  • mouthpiece insert
Using a syringe and 195 proof alcohol the unit was clean and dried in under 3 minutes
reassembly went well and the tank is back in rotation.

take care Ya'll

I've been happy with my eGo-C as a system design. Mildly annoyed that one of my batteries is acting up, but that's just a fluke, not a part of the overall design itself. I'm sticking with the type A tho. The type B just looks too bulky. I like the way the cone tapers down. Several of my coworkers commented that it looks like a nice high end writing pen. :)

Here in about half an hour or so (Basically once I get some food in my belly and ready in general) I'm going to head over to the vape store in Orlando where I bought my kit to get the battery issue resolved.

Hawkeye, what size batteries are you running? Have you tried the twist battery yet?

I have 650mah batteries. At first I thought they would feel too short, but I really took to the size. I'm running them with LR attys so they don't last as long as they could of course.

Got to try the Twist earlier today at Esmoker's store. We were talking juice and he let me drip some Dekang cherry to compare the flavor to High Caliber. After a couple of tokes on the regular -C battery, he handed me his 1000mah Twist (Looooong) cranked full voltage. Huge difference in flavor nuances in Cherry. As soon as I "break even" on my expenses to date, I am getting one, but probably the 650mah.

how did you like the flavor of the dekang compared to the high caliber? I gotta make an order tomorrow and it will definitely include the 55 High Caliber juice. If you've never hat it, it tastes sort of like a sweet cigarette or cigarillo. Any suggestions on a flavor to try? What is your favorite so far?

Dekang Cherry seems just a touch sweeter. It's also higher in PG, so I'm sure that's carrying the flavor more. And it's darker than HC's Cherry. I got it (D) in 24mg as kind of a wake and vape strength. I forget if you've mentioned, have you been to the store on Orange Ave yet? We have to pay tax and there's gas costs involved, but you get your stuff right this instant. :) When I was there yesterday, they now have a small table setup with some flavors to try out. And when he was talking about the Dekang Cherry, he got out a clean eGo A sized drip tip for me so I could direct drip it onto my atty to try. He also let me try out his Twist battery (so nice, but not in budget yet)

As for flavors, so far I really do like the cherries. But that's always been one of my favorite flavors. I got a bottle of Orange Creme from SmokeSmooth in a contest. That's really yummy. Reminds me of the orange frozen drink they sell in the France Pavilion at Epcot. Got some Key Lime Pie from the Vape Dudes with their daily FB freebie code. It's very much like the desert. And if you like vanilla, HC's Killa Vanilla is great.

I'm waiting for the mail man with some VapeMail right now. Vapors Choice Cherry (Gotta try others to get the best), Caramel Apple, Watermelon, and French Vanilla Keoke Coffee.
