Thank you for starting this thread. I have been wondering the same thing over the past few days. I also mainly use TW liquid and so now I more or less know. I haven't been measuring, but have found that I cannot stop vaping like it's a pacifier. That's fine, but I don't want to get myself more hooked on nic than I was already. I will start counting too, lol.

In a house.
Well how many ml are there in a Standard Classic Cartridge ?
And how many in a DSE901 Cartridge ?
I can't seem to find the amount written on any of these only the Strength i.e 18mg-14.mg etc so i don't know how many drops to put in a refill Cart.
I'm using the same bottles as freddo so that's handy to know. Thanks freddo.

I have a 3ML syringe filled it up to 1ML and counted exactly 20 drops using water. It is a just a rough estimate way to do things drops can be of different size but roughly 2 drops = 1 cigarette = 0.1ml

Also did some volume measurements a Pen style cartridge can hold 1.1ml of Liquid with the sponge pulled out. Most likely 1ml with sponge in.

A DSE901 cartridge holds 0.4ml to the brim with the sponge pulled out most likely 0.3ml with a sponge in. So = to 3 real cigarettes.

I'm sure someone will tell me I've not read a thread that I should have - but - here goes ...

Apart from not wanting to drown my atomiser - the size of the drop doesn't bother me - what does interest me is the amount of nic. You buy e-liquid in ml's but nicotine is in mg's. The mg's are not the mg's you get in a bottle. A 36mg 30ml and a 20ml bottle of e-liquid will have the same strength of nicotine.

One smoking cigarette that has 1.1mg nicotine was informative. A big, medium or small bottle with a "36mg" (or whatever) label isn't as helpful.

Sorry Freddo - didn't want to hijack your thread - but I'd find %'s more helpful than drops.

I'm now running to my bunker in the expectation of being told mg/ml conversion is easy!

If you really want %'s the 18mg High Juice is 1.8% Nicotine.

Personally I find the 2 drops of 18mg = 1 regular 'marlboro' cigarette kind of comparison useful if we share definitions of a drop.
When I first started dripping, I was using an eye dropper bottle whose drops were probably closer to 5 normal drops so I was regularly flooding atomizers and overdoing my nic intake.

I have noticed that the smaller glass dropper in the smaller bottles makes a smaller drop than the bottles that don't have a dropper but just the hole in the bottle to make the drops. When filling a cart it takes me many more drops with the small glass dropper and just a couple with the bottle that drops! Does that make any sense? lol

If there's 20 drops in a ml and 36mg nic then each drop would contain approx. 1.8mg nic. That's about two cigs worth per drop.

If there's 15 drops in a ml, with 36mg juice each drop would equal around 2.4mg nic. or about two and a half cigs worth per drop.

I vape two drops in five minutes so that means I could take in up to 4.8mg nic in five minutes or the equivalent of about one cig per minute.

My 36 has been put aside, it's used strictly for diluting since I got palpitations.

Not 100% sure this is the correct thread but it seems close to what I am looking for... I being a heavy 2 pk a day analog smoker and who sucks at math is trying to determine if 2ml would be enough to satisfy my nicotine addiction or can I use more until I drop down? Currently all the nic liquids I have are 16mg so how would I determine how many ml I would use to equal 40 analogs worth of nicotine? Now I am also refilling carts and there is always liquid left in the filler that I eventually drain and re-use when I clean all my saved fillers. Let me stress that math was my worst subject and I am very much bad at it.. (my english I just play around with) I tend to be able to puff almost constantly with no side effects like headaches or head rushes. I had quit for 11 days this month and have just restarted TAKE 2 on my quiting analogs. Last time I had patches (7mg) that I wore for the first week. That isnt an option this round.

Again any help would be appreciated.

Yes, but this is % Weight by Volume, which isn't a very helpful number. There isn't much one can do with it. A 100% nicotine solution, for instance, IMPLIES it is pure nicotine. But really it just indicates there are 100 grams in 100 mL of solution. Definitely not pure nicotine. Weight by Volume numbers make it seem like there is a lot more nicotine than there is.

The important number is mg/ml and drops per ml. That will help you determine your intake. Drops per ml is dependent on viscosity of the liquid, as has been mentioned. So it will vary by brand.

Bueler??? Anyone?? Sorry if I seem anxious but this is the hardest time of the quit smoking phase.. I may be a tad more impatient currently and hope I dont offend anyone by reposting this question.

Edit: Most of the time(14 hrs) counted on my banner was done sleeping last night..
