Hello and welcome back for today's review of a dual 18650 box mod from DOVPO called the MVP. The MVP box mod from DOVPO has 5 power modes that include 3 temperature control modes, wattage (power) and voltage. The MVP is a very simple and easy device to operate because of it's menu system having your choice of the five power modes, brightness control, display screen color choice and a stats section that are very easy to navigate.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS
Packaging is pretty basic with a box containing the MVP, charge cord, user manual and QC certificate inside a outer sleeve.. Next to the MVP box mod is a small box containing the charge cord ( TYPE-C ).
Picking the device up I found it to be a featherweight for a dual 18650 mod. I was sent the Carbon Fiber Black color that has a nice look of Carbon Fiber on both sides without any branding on either side leaving a clean appearance of the mod, in fact there is no branding of any kind on the outside of the MVP box mod.
Installing the batteries is done by way of a removable side panel, only one panel is removable with the other side being fixed in place and the backside of the batteries. To get the panel open and off there is a small groove that is clearly marked on the back saying open with a arrow pointing to the opening spot, the panel is secured using 2 strong magnets.
DOVPO included a ribbon on the MVP for quick removal of the batteries and I appreciate that tiny extra time saving addition, you can charge your batteries inside the MVP but I strongly recommend using a dedicated battery charger. When installing the batteries note that the bottom contacts are spring loaded so start loading batteries bottom end first.
DOVPO has clearly marked the correct battery polarity with +plus and -minus symbols, I wish they were highlighted in white though for quicker identification. Keeping with the clean unbranded appearance DOVPO put the charging port inside the MVP.
Turning our attention to the top of the MVP the 510 top plate that is screwed in from the outside using 2 screws which make it feel solidly secured in place. I think you could get away with using a 26mm atomizer but overhang begins ever so slightly because of the tiny beveled cut surrounding the MVP so a 25 or 25.5mm is a better choice of atomizer to attach as the 25.5mm atomizer pictured shows.
The MVP offers a 2 color display screen choice of either Red as pictured above or Green, I like them both and have been switching between them often during testing of the mod with no clear winner of color for me. Don't let the scratch's on the display screen concern you because there are none, the MVP ships with a very good protective screen protector installed on the display screen, I always like to keep a screen protector on as long as I can before they either bubble up or peel away.
I am a wattage only vaper so I can't tell you how well the temperature modes work of which there are 3 of them. ( NI ) - ( TI ) - ( SS ) but in voltage mode it has a maximum output of 8.4V so it quite possibly might have a boost circuit although it's not stated anywhere in the manual. Also of note for the TC vapers is that you can drive the wattage all the way to the full 220w when vaping in TC.
The features of the MVP are impressive with 5 power modes, maximum wattage output of 220w, maximum voltage output of 8.4V ( Possible Boost Circuit ), maximum temperature of 600° Fahrenheit or 315° Celsius, adjustments in .5 increments, 2 screen color choices and has the round robin feature as well with a simple and easy menu system.
MENU SYSTEM OPERATION
* On/Off - 5 Quick Presses Of The Fire Button
* Adjustment buttons Lock/Unlock - Press And Hold Adjustment Buttons Simultaneously
* Enter The Menu - 3 Quick Presses Of The Fire Button, Use Adjustment Buttons To Move To Your Selection, Once There Press The Fire Button To Activate That Selection
I have been using the MVP box mod for almost 2 weeks without a single issue, I get clean fast power delivered to my coil or coils with every press of the button, by the way all 3 of the buttons are very clicky and hit the mark. For a dual 18650 box mod the MVP is very lightweight. Things don't have to be complex or complicated to still give a great vape performance as the MVP proves -(Easy-Simple-Powerful).
I have enjoyed running the MVP box mod through it's trials and will continue using it now that it passed all testing that I could put it through with ease. I highly recommend the MVP box mod to all of you 100%.
I would like to thank Daisy and DOVPO for providing the MVP box mod for the purpose of my review and I hope I answered all your questions on the MVP.
THANK YOU
