Do all disposables sold in US contain menthol?

I've looked high and low for a section on disposables and it appears this topic is not being taken as seriously as it aught to be.

Every lead I've followed and every kind of disposable I've bought, whether implied or not, has menthol in it. The majority of tobacco smokers do not like menthol flavored tobacco, so it seems rather odd to me that it is pushed so heavily. As we know, apart from nicotine, there is little that one would consider harmful about vaping and yet these products containing menthol are accompanied by a warning of reproductive harm.

So, does anyone know of a brand or flavor being sold in the US that has zero menthol?

ECF already has a sub-forum for disposables. It's located where your other thread was moved to.

Here:

Not being taken seriously by who? To be honest, you are the only person I've seen on ECF over the last year plus who has brought this up.

Yes. Buy yourself a decent pod mod that has refillable cartridges and then you can vape whatever juice(s) you desire.

With sealed disposable cartridges you are at the mercy of whatever juice(s) a manufacturer chooses to use in their pod devices. If you don't like what you are finding in disposables then it is time to change the gear you are using. Simple.

Interesting thing I read once. Supposedly menthol is the only flavoring ingredient used in vaping that has been officially safety tested for inhalation, due to its use in cigs. I'm sure that's not why it's used so much in disposables though.

I believe most disposables come from China so there's no quality control or rules about ingredients, at least visible to outsiders. Meaning there is no way of assessing their safety.

As for why menthol is so common, your guess is as good as mine. My guess is that's what people buy the most.

Apparently it's not being taken seriously by anyone, which was my concern. Remember the warning label and how it must pertain to the menthol additive? Although you are not among them, there is a huge market of buyers being put at risk.

But thank you for your reply, I appreciate the time and info you've given me.

If by menthol you mean ‘iced’? Kolada is one of the flavoring that gives juice its menthol flavor but when combined with other flavors it won’t.
As far as disposable devices not getting their recognition it’s because they are a dime a dozen, same thing different packaging, percentage of puffs, and flavor.

The only folks who will take this seriously are those like yourself and others who purchase and don't like the menthol in their disposables.

How many people is that? I don't know.

I'm sorry, I am not familiar with that.

Is the vaping risk greater than smoking cigarettes? Personally, I don't think it is. But, I could be wrong.

My take on all kinds of pods is this...... if they help people to get off of smokes then that's awesome.

I've never purchased a disposable or any kind of pod device. I prefer using rebuildable atty's; like RDA's, RTA's and RDTA's. I also have a couple tanks that take drop-in coils.

As vaper's we have many many options to choose from within each style of device.

But thank you for your reply, I appreciate the time and info you've given me.

You're welcome. You've started a couple good threads/topics on disposables. Hopefully those who regularly use pod devices will chime in. There are several pod users on ECF.

To be clear, the reason this is important is:

1- Menthol is being heavily pushed without exception.
2- The packaging I see says only for sale in US.
3- They come from the same place flooding the US with deadly fentanyl.
4- They are the sworn enemy of the US.
5- My customer reviews that mention menthol are deleted from Element Vape website.

Anyone see a problem worthy of being addressed by this forum?

If vaping safety is of import to a vaping master, then I don't see why it should be taken lightly.

My understanding was, a few years ago disposables were set to be banned but that didn't happen. Every gas station sells them.
Thanks, that is interesting, and I can see why it might appear that they were found to be safe for public consumption, but more than likely it was pushed through and allowed to be sold despite the opposition by concerned health organizations.

So I know exactly what you are talking about. I hate menthol. I did not smoke menthol cigarettes. I normally use a refillable tank but the times I have left them at home or whatever reason I had to go buy a disposable. I’ve tried 3 different brands and different flavors all that do not say they are menthol, but yet they all taste like menthol. I looked it up and tried flavors that were advertised as non menthol- still taste like menthol. I read the comments about just not using disposables or what have you but I mean if someone would come out with one that didn’t taste like menthol I’m sure they would get rich. So do all disposables taste like menthol cigarettes??

Possibly. If you care about flavor (or money for that matter) disposables aren’t the way to go anyway. Disposables have only two advantages: convnence, and confiscation because they’re illegal. In all other areas they’re worse. In areas where menthol is illegal, like mine, there is ”ice” which tastes pretty similar.
