Diy pg/vg, what brand do you wape

Finally after two years of vaping I'm getting into diy. So I was wondering what pg/vg are the best ones out there? So far I got western family usp vg (save on food pharmacy house brand?) , tastes kinda weird, super sweet with some chemical bitterness to it, vaping leaves some sort of coating in the mouth, sort of fat or waxy feeling. Xenex brand usp pg is sweet, haven't tried vaping it by itself yet, only with that weird vg @ 70/30. So what is your favorite vg/pg combo that tastes "clean"?

Also that xenex stuff says avoid inhalation/contact with eyes on the bottle, but msds says its fine to inhale :-o and overall looks pretty scary.

Slightly hazardous in case of skin contact (irritant, permeator), of eye contact (irritant), of ingestion. Non-hazardous in case of inhalation.

The PG and VG I use would have to be pharmaceutical grade USP ordered through Shoppers Drug Mart or other pharmacy.

67 PG / 33 VG works for me mostly.

I still have USP Kosher stock from the US, but when I run out, I'll get some from Shopper's.

Farm & Tack co-ops also have USP PG and VG, but they're not pharmaceutical grades.

I second the life brand USP VG. Been using it for months now. I picked up a little bottle of Personelle brand USP VG from PJC, but it smells odd so its in the 1st aid kit.

Do you get pg from Shoppers. I asked for it and they said I could't buy it. Get the VG USP off shelf. Live in London Area. Anyone have that problem?

I haven't tried to get PG from Shoppers. Did you ask the Pharmacist? I know the manager at the store near me, I'll ask him and see what I can find out.

I used to just use the stuff out in the shelves but now I ask my pharmacist to order for me form a medical supplier that they get stuff from. When I get home tonight I'll get the name of the company but they are out of Quebec. I found that the taste difference was night and day. Even though the Shoppers brands and others say USP on them .... I don't know, they probably would pass as a body lotion or something but you can definitely get stuff that is of much higher quality.

The one I use came from the phamarcien and the company is Galanova for the VG and Medisca for the PG.

VG is everywhere but I checked the yellow pages for "compounding pharmacy" to get my PG (USP),
they use it to custom make medications, hence a lot of pharmacies won't sell it even if they do
have some. Notice the expiry date before purchasing.

Where in Ontario are you? Most pharmacies near me will either order/sell me when they have it.

Shoppers mainly is where they wouldn't get me PG, apparently wasn't even in there suppliers book(or whatever).
Ended up at the (old) Zellers pharm. and a small local one to get more, Zellers PG was near expiry.

Yeah, I've talked to some crazy Pharmacists before. When I get my PG now, I make sure to go in my office clothes because in my jeans + t-shirt, they almost look at me like i'm about to cook some .....

One time, I went to the Rexall and the pharmacist told me I needed a prescription. Not just off the cuff either. She actually checked the book and told me PG was a class 1 drug. DRUG! I told her if she doesn't even know the basic component in a compounding liquid, I would NEVER get my meds from there. I'm surprised the cops weren't waiting for me in the parking lot when I left.
