I currently have the UD AGI and i was thinking about getting the IGO-L but my question is.. is there a difference between the igo-l and agi in dripper mode besides the top caps and the extra holes in the agi? I want to know if there is a difference in performance (vapor production, and taste). I dont want to waste my money on the IGO-L if it pretty much performs the same way as the agi.

I own both and they are essentially the same- the IGO is smaller in diameter and has a bit smaller air chamber, and obviously has no wick holes that you need to worry about leaking. Otherwise, they both work as drippers pretty well.
I agree theyre about the same just have to plug the holes with the plugs included. Its not about the deck/platform but how good you can build a coil.

The AGI is a true 22mm device, so it would match the majority of mechs out there better than the Igo (assuming you like having matching diameters)

In my opinioin the AGI gives slightly muted flavor (still great though) compared to devices with a smaller chamber volume. It's a very small difference, but figured I'd mention it.

Also, if you are having trouble with leaking in dripper mode, there is an easy fix. Use two of those little silicone plugs that come inside the 510 connection on Boge cartos. Cut the "flange" part of the plug down small enough so you can jam the thing inside the holes in the AGI. This will seal it off by itself, but to keep the plugs in place I usually put the grub screws into their holes and screw them flush with the deck. After doing this I've had zero leaking from my AGI when in dripper mode.
