When I first started vaping I bought a kit from FreedomSmokeUSA, manual batteries. I love them.

However today, tragically, I *lost* one my my batteries, and the other gave out a few months ago, and I replaced it (accidentally) with an auto battery - which I hate.

Now I'm looking to get two new KR808 manual batteries but I am so confused! Are bloog's, and V4L batteries 100% compatible with the equipment (wall and USB chargers as well as a metric ton of cartomizers) I already have? Or will I need new supporting equipment?

FreedomsmokeUSA has been out of manual batteries for forever, and I am super worried that I'll be tempted to go back to analogs if I can't get something decent soon - but all this information is just too much to figure out. I don't understand mAh, Ohm, and all this other stuff. I just want to vape, and I want to order from someone who's in stock!!

Any help you guys can provide is greatly appreciated. All I want is a KR808 manual battery I can get here ASAP!

Thanks all.

You can look at them from Smokeless Image, V2cigs (V2s are 4.2 volt), Vapor4Life, Halo or Bloogplanet.

V2's batteries are covered under a lifetime warranty and will be replaced up to 5 times per a battery you buy. Not sure about the warranty on the others.

All KR808D-1 batteries are compatible with all KR808D-1 catridges.

Tovin (sir or Ms.?) yes and no. V4l, v2, and the batt you previously owned are unregulated gen 1 kr808's. They will work with your previous equipment, including your cartos. Bloog, volt, halo g6, and nhaler sell the gen 2 regulated version. They come in at 3.6v, which works great for the new horizontal coil cartos, but won't perform as well with the old school vertical coil ones... Hope this helps.

Vapor4Life is the most like the original manufacturer KR808D-1 manuals - mostly sealed threaded end, good size button, longer safety cutoff (I reached 10 seconds on one and it did not cut off). However my Vapor4Life batteries are the previous model from waht they currently sell so I cannot vouch for the cutoff of the current V4L batteries.

SmokelessImage Volt, Halocigs G6 and Bloogplanet are a newer rubberized style. They claim a bit longer charge. The manuals are totally sealed on the threaded end, the button is very tiny and recessed a bit, and the safety cutoff is short (5 seconds). Once you have had the button pressed in for 5 seconds (which for me is a 2 second early press then 3 seconds of drag), the battery will cut off and flash, and as soon as the flash is done you can drag again (no timeout after the flash so not too bad). I just try to limit myself to a 1 second early press.

I use both of those and also original manufacturer Kanger KR808D-1 (the newest version with the gold hard button) and charge them all on my old Vapor4Life chargers which are pretty standard KR808D-1 chargers, and I use Vapor4Life WOW carto blanks on them. Many people like the SmokelessImage Volt and Bloogplanet Maxxfusion blanks (I think they are now the same as each other). The V4L blanks are available in colors which I use to remember which juice is in each, and the Volt ones just all black I think.

So if you want the larger button you might want the Vapor4Life - I do not know the current cutoff but their older model had a long cutoff. If you want the totally sealed threaded end and slightly longer charge and tiny button and don't care about the short cutoff, get the new rubberized ones. I like both. I love love love the Volt Raspberry color. They only have manuals in some colors. Also - I know Volt lists its LED color, Vapor4Life you don't know the LED color.

And I recommend the standard aka 78mm battery size (almost 120mm w/ carto attached) for 280mah (V4L) or 320mah (the rubberized model) of charge. (60-70% more charge than the shorty/65mm size). And darker colors make them look slimmer. (mah is a measure of battery charge - 100mah is about 1 hour of moderate vaping, more if vaped more lightly, less if vaped heavily)
