Hello all. I'm obviously a newbie (somewhat) to vaping. What's the main difference between the Protank 2 and 3? A local vape shop recommended the Protank (in general, no specific model), but I ended up finding both on ebay a lot cheaper and ordered one of each. It seems everyone likes glass to plastic, and I really want to start vaping citrus or cinnamon-based juice. I was also told they produce more vapor. Comments?

ProTank 2's are single coil, the ProTank 3's are dual coil. Both now come in slimmer Mini versions as well. The coils are not interchangeable.

For the benefits to vaping single vs dual I can't say. I have a protank 2 mini now, I like it but I am going to be ordering a Protank 3 and Protank 3 Mini tomorrow. Hooray for payday.

Hooray for payday.

Hooray for payday is right. Payday for me today, too.

I know that one is a single vs. a double, but no other differences besides that?
As for the single coil - can I use the same coils I'm using in my T3S right now? It seems that the general consensus is that plastic tanks suck.

HI there. I started out with protank 2. LOVED IT right out of the box, but then ran into some problems with flooding and what not. I changed out the cols in it and seemed to fix it... but still happens occasionally no matter how gentle I treat it. Thicker juices seem to do better than thin ones.
I just received my protank 3 in the mail yesterday, and have been vaping Boba's Bounty (100% VG which is thicker than most) and it is working so so much better than my protank 2. The coils it comes with are dual coil, and the stem on them is shorter than the protank 2 ones, although I think recently Kanger has changed that to the same size stems... but they are not interchangeable with the protank 2. That being said, there is virtually no difference otherwise! It is identical to protank 2 and the other parts are interchangeable with each other.
I did notice the "deaw" on the protank 3 seems a tad bit tighter than the 2... which I sort of prefer. I will be ordering at least one more asap (the 3)
I got it from Kanger Protank 3 Glass Clearomizer - EVcigarettes.com for $18.88 + $3.18 S/H to Massachusetts ($6.50 Priority if you like)
Oh and the protank 3 is showing as 2.0 ohm's resistance on my Vamo V5 and iTaste MVP 2.
