Desire Mad Dog GTA

There's a new RTA coming out, the Desire Mad Dog genesis-style rebuildable tank. I like that it comes in different colors other than the typical silver and black. And that it is a 25 mm tank so it will fit nicely with thicker mods like the Fuchai 213/Kaos Spectrum and the iJoy Captain. I absolutely love that electric blue one.

The build deck looks like it is designed for a single coil, with a large air inlet in the center for the bottom airflow. It looks like it can accommodate a fairly large coil and looks to have pretty good airflow. It also has a wide synthetic drip tip that is supposed to be anti-condensation. I also like the wide wick channels so you can pack a good amount of wick in there if you are using a wide coil.

Got a silver one and it came with two Clapton coils. Installed the fused Clapton as a single coil build. Measured out at 0.08 ohms and running it at 65 watts. I wicked it using a cotton pad with the Scottish roll technique. The tails of the wick was stuffed into the holes and then spread out. So far after a tank full of juice, no leaks and even though there is a lot of cotton in the wick channels, they are plenty roomy so I am not getting any dry hits. With the tails of the wick right at the very bottom of the tank, you can literally vape the last drop of juice out of the tank. The Claptons give pretty good flavor and vapor production. I could certainly vape it at higher power, but I do prefer a cooler vape.
