Just saw this, and I gotta say I'm liking the looks of it.

I'm also REALLY liking the way it's presented! The presentation alone makes it worth the price.

The deck reminds me a little of the Peerless rda, but it's been married to a 2 ml tank section with an Alpine/Merlin fill method. At first, I thought the 2 ml tank was a deal breaker, but that fill method makes topping off a breeze!

Definitely gonna check this one out... how about you?

Well done on the styling, design and packaging.

I feel a lot of companies nowadays screw up with simple things like logos and type which really does make a difference to those who are OCD with stuff like this.

To some it might not. But I will not have an ugly device or mod [emoji81].

That's just me.

Yay! My DejaVu RDTA arrived today. I have the stainless model.

First thoughts:

Packaging and included accessories are VERY nice.
It comes in a box. In the box, there is a zippered clamshell. In the clamshell, there is the atty, broken down into tank/deck section, barrel, topcap/afc/drip tip. There's a spare glass, a spare drip tip, a plastic container with 8 extra grub screw, extra o-rings and hex wrench, and an atty stand. Sweet. All pieces are snuggled into an easily removable piece of black foam.

Machining and tolerances appear to be on point... snug, but not difficult.

The tank, itself, measures 24 mm across the base, but it 25 mm around the barrel. It's also pretty short, measuring 46 mm tall without 510 or drip tip.

Speaking of drip tips, there are two - one 810 ultem, and one knurled 810 stainless. I find I actually like the stainless here.

The knurled base of the tank/deck section is reverse threaded. Removing the base to access the underside of the deck and glass is quite easy.

The tank/deck section (on the stainless version, at least) is media blasted around the airflow giving the metal a flat gray appearance up to and around the two, non-adjustable bottom airflow slots. In that regard, it's very much like the VGod Trick Tank Pro... right down to the tabs on the barrel.

The similatity ends there. This atty features a deck that reminds me strongly of the Peerless. There are 2 large notched holes up high, and 2 smaller holes down low. Where the peerless uses a longer, stepped screw for the bottom post hole, this uses two more screws entering from the side.

Filling is a dream! Between the two posts is a spring-loaded port large enough for a glass dripper tip... press in and squeeze, and voila! Filled up. There's an ample enough well between the outsize of the deck and the airflow that dribble when filling will not lead to leaking. I have been able to fill without removing the topcap!

The lightly brushed stainless barrel features some low key engraving - a box with DJV inside it - on each side, and a pair of triangles for adjustable side air.

Then there's the topcap which looks like virtually every other 810 compatible afc/topcap.

What's missing? Coils, cotton, single coil adapter, and a 510 adapter. At the current asking price, I would have liked to see these items included. I would have also liked to see the outside of the topcap knurled to both make it easier to adjust (not that it's at all hard), and to match the knurled base. It also wasn't the cleanest atty I've ever received in the mail, either. And, some additional capacity would have been nice.

The air is good... somewhere between wide open and a little bit restricted DL. I have one triangle open on top to supplement the bottom, and the flavor and vapor production is very good.

Currently, I have dual 3.5 mm 6 wrap 28 x 3/36 SS316L fused claptons installed. It's reading in around 0.165 ohms, and I'm running it in SS TC mode on the Praxis Banshee at 90 watts/450F. I've gone through 3 tanks (but at 2 ml each, that ain't saying much).

Pics and more thoughts coming tomorrow.

The TC is adequate, but only just. It feels a little wavy on round wires, and a little hot on claptons, but I've not butned anything. There is no TCR adjustment.

That's too bad. It's a sweet looking mod but I have enough "just ok" TC mods. Oh well I guess my wallet thanks you for the heads up. :thumb:

But, but, but... it's pretty!

Seriously, if you're looking for DNA quality TC in a snazzy resin enclosure for $50, you're likely gonna be looking for a while. Next best is the Cartel Revenant. Some might say the Voopoo Drag, but I don't like the single resin panel design.
