CVS PURE GLYCERIN, OKAY TO USE?

Is this glycerin ok to use? It says that it is usp on the cvs website, but it does not say usp on the bottle from the store it just says "pure glycerin". I mixed 50/50 with my liquid and it seems fine, just more clouds and less throat hit. The cvs website says it is "pure glycerin usp" and it has the same sku # as the website. Does anyone else use this?

Thats all vg does big clouds and smooths the draw

Even one of the reviews in Robins link says they use it for long time in diy juice

I also bought this but decided not to use it as it wasnt USP, or at least didnt say it was. I picked up a similar bottle at a local mom and pop pharmacy that sold USP. I wouldnt use it.

I won't use anything thats not the food grade products whether it be vg or pg.

Im using it right now. Im going to return it and get one that is usp.

The whole idea is to be heather so some is used in makeup products which is different than the food grade, the purity isn't thier on the other. Try for 99.7 or higher USP it has a sweet taste to it.

I was told for good flavor 99.7 or higher, sweeter taste for eliquid & custards.you guy's should talk to liquid barn for info on eliquids & flavors.

Dude .2. % is a microscopic amount of moisture, i cannot fathom how it would make a difference since Glycerin is a natural sugar to begin with, its sweet no matter what percentage, its even used as a non caloric sweet flavoring in many foods

Our biggest concerns are usp and pure some of the best is essential depot- tests out to 99.84% only $25 a gal

Actually, the 5% or 3% "impurity" is probably just water 'cause Vg loves it some water and it is hard to get and keep it all out.

Well I'm not a chemist, I was just relaying what I was told.

It's not all that expensive -- I've been working on the liter I got from them for some time now (just restocked the freezer with more vg and nic though just incase we get a crazy ejuice law)

It really has to be USP or BP ( US or British Pharmacopeia) grade--not food grade.

yeah you can get 4 litters of VG from nude nicotine for $28 if you want -- that extra 6 bucks doesn't amount to much per batch or ml of juice

I agree. I buy mine from Nude Nicotine or Vapers Tek--they have exceptional quality nicotine, PG and VG. And lab certificates. Great vendors.
