Cotton for wicks from Walmart or Walgreens

No CVS in the town I live in or I would get the sterile cotton rolls that have been suggested.

What's my options from Walmart or Walgreens for cotton that doesn't need to be boiled?

I just use plain cotton balls from the Safeway grocery. I don't do anything to it. The heat from the coil should kill anything living. It tastes like cotton for a few puffs then goes away.

Either Walmart or Walgreen's should have Organic cotton. It's up to the individual whether to boil or not. I have boiled the Organic cotton.

I now use Peaches and Cream White yarn....I do boil that too. It works perfect for micro-coils. Takes the guess work out of how much cotton to use. Just thread it thru the micro-coil and that's perfect for my Protank 2 or Aspire nautilus.

cotton balls.. wash or not.. I don't, but you can, if you will feel safer..

Thanks. Will get some organic cotton balls from one of the two today. Might try the yarn as well.

I also have a roll of natural cotton twine for tying turkeys and roasts from Bed Bath and Beyond. 500 feet for $5. I use a 16ga needle and have to pull off 2-3 strands to get it small enough to feed through the coil.
