I gave up cigs 6 weeks ago and started vaping. Currently I'm using a Flash-e-Vapor v3 rta on a Dovpo e-mech. Love it!
i started with silica wicks but following Rip Trippers advice I decided to try cotton wicks. First off I used cotton stripped from a cosmetic cotton bud. After a couple of hours my lungs started to seize up. I didn't connect this with the cotton at first and put it down to pollen or whatever. But it got worse and worse until it turned into a major and painful asthma attack! I at last realised it might be the cotton and switched back to silica and my lungs went back to normal.
So I did not want to give up on the cotton as Rip Tripper says its so much better than silica. I went to the chemist and bought a load of cotton wool which I boiled and rinsed several times. Using it is so much better than the cotton bud stuff but I still do get an unpleasant slight chest tightening.
Just wondering if anyone has come across this before? Can anyone recommend a very pure untreated cotton I could try just in case it's some sort of residue left from the processing of the cotton.
Thanks for any advice
