Does any one know where I can get a copper protectant. I've been polishing my copper mods and attys with brasso and it works great but in a couple of days they start to patina again. I know some vapors like the patina , but I prefer the copper to look new and shiny. I'm looking for a substance that I can brush on the devices after I polish them that will slow down or prevent the patina.

Whatever you coat it with will be soft compared to metal and it will scratch. The mod will tarnish where it is scratched and you will need to remove all the coating, clean it, and coat again to make it bright. Laquer is nice because you can take it off with nail polish remover.
Wax, like car wax, will give it some protection.
Go with nature and let it patina.

I would let it patina or just give it a good polishing every now and again with MOTHERS
