Contact/switch metal for mech box mod

I'm going to be building a wood mech box mod with parallel 18650s. I want to have a REO style switch, without any wires. What metal would you use and where would you buy it? I am thinking about beryllium copper. Are there any other metals with good conductivity that would be less resistant to oxidation, maybe aluminum? Thanks for your help

I got a 6inch by 8 inch sheet of copper. Found it at michealz in the toy cAr section.
